๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 1. KIA Captures Two More Military-Controlled People’s Militia Camps in Hkaunglanphu Township

October 30

According to local military sources, the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) has captured two additional People’s Militia camps under the control of the terrorist junta in Hkaunglanphu Township, Putao District, Kachin State.

On October 28, joint forces of the KIA seized the camps located at Nga Ja La Village and Nam Ching Village in the Shin Kaung area of Hkaunglanphu Township.

These two camps, situated between Lansai Village, Upper Makhaungdam Village, and Shin Kaung Village, were known as critical outposts for the defense of Hkaunglanphu town.

Local sources report that these camps were defensive outposts previously held by junta troops and People’s Militias who had retreated from Lahsin and Shilan Dam.

Earlier, on October 21, the KIA and its allied revolutionary forces had already captured two other military camps in Hkaunglanphu. With this latest operation, a total of four junta camps have now been seized in the area.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 2. Junta Conducts Series of Airstrikes Against KIA Brigades 8 and 9

October 30

The KIA’s Information Department reported that the terrorist junta continues to carry out successive aerial bombardments targeting KIA Brigade 8 and Brigade 9 positions.

The junta has been deploying aircraft to conduct bombings in the Hpakant area (under Brigade 9) and Brigade 8 territory.

On October 27, the junta used a Y-12 reconnaissance aircraft to drop bombs 30 times over the operational area of KIA Brigade 8.

Again, at 12:15 a.m. on October 28, junta aircraft launched further bomb attacks against Brigade 9’s Hpakant area.

Reports indicate that the junta has been attempting to clear territories captured by the KIA and its allied forces—seeking to prepare those regions for the upcoming sham elections—while continuing indiscriminate airstrikes daily against civilian settlements and non-combat areas.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 3. 16-Year-Old Girl Raped and Killed by Junta Troops in San Pan Nant Thar Village, Kanbalu Township

October 30

According to Infinity Group, which monitors and reports local incidents, a 16-year-old girl was raped and murdered by junta troops stationed in San Pan Nant Thar Village, located along the Shwebo–Myitkyina strategic route in Kanbalu Township. The report was released today, October 30.

On October 29, junta soldiers at the San Pan Nant Thar outpost detained two young girls traveling by motorcycle from Pekone Village (eastern Kalay Township) to Shwebo. One of them was raped and killed.

The victim has been identified as Ma Su Myat Pyae, a 16-year-old girl from Pekone Village, Kalay Township.

The other girl managed to escape and is now under the care and protection of local revolutionary forces.

A similar incident occurred earlier on October 16, when junta troops from the same outpost abducted a couple traveling from Kalay Township toward Tanse Township to offer a Kathina robe donation. The wife was raped and killed, while their gold jewelry, 700,000 kyats, three phones, and a motorcycle were looted.

Junta soldiers stationed at San Pan Nant Thar outpost have long been notorious for abducting male travelers, extorting money, and raping detained women.
Because of these ongoing atrocities, local revolutionary forces have urged civilians to avoid traveling along this route and to exercise extreme caution near junta-controlled areas.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 4. Two Soldiers Killed in Landmine Attack on Junta Checkpoint at Wai Kyi Dam, Paungde Township

October 30

The Paungde People’s Defense Force (PPDF-3601 Battalion) reported today that two junta soldiers were killed and several others, including a junta informant, were injured in a landmine ambush against a junta checkpoint near Wai Kyi Dam in Paungde Township, Pyay District, Bago Region.

The operation was carried out by PPDF Battalion 3601, Company 2, under the command of Strategy 21, at around 7:00 a.m. on October 28.

In the attack, two soldiers were killed instantly, while other soldiers and an informant known as Ma Kabyar, along with three civilians inside the camp, sustained injuries.

Ma Kabyar, reportedly the mistress of a junta soldier, had been informing the military about the activities of the People’s Defense Forces and assisting in the confiscation of goods purchased by locals from town markets.

The PDF stated that the attack was launched only when the area was free of civilian movement, but they expressed deep regret that three local civilians were unintentionally injured by the explosion.

PPDF-3601 has also warned residents to avoid staying or traveling near junta checkpoints and camps, as such areas remain military targets.
