## 1. Resistance Forces Report More Than 100 Junta Troops Killed in Wetlet Fighting
Resistance forces say they fought at least 15 clashes with a roughly 300-strong junta column in eastern Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region, over a seven-month period.
According to Shwebo District Battalion 2, the fighting occurred between December 25, 2025, and July 31, 2026, along the Ayeyarwady River corridor.
The military column reportedly included troops from the 33rd Light Infantry Division, Light Infantry Battalions 12 and 13, and the Mingun militia.
The resistance group claimed that more than 100 junta soldiers were killed during the fighting. It also said one military vehicle was destroyed, two drones were shot down, and four vehicles along with large quantities of weapons and ammunition were captured.
A number of resistance battalions, drone units and local defense forces reportedly participated in the operations under the Shwebo District command.
The military remains deployed in several villages along the Ayeyarwady River, according to the statement, which warned travelers using Road No. 3 in eastern Wetlet to exercise caution because further fighting could break out.

## 2. FPV Drone Strikes Military Convoy on Salin-Kanpya Road
Resistance forces say an FPV drone struck a military vehicle traveling as part of a large convoy on the Salin-Kanpya road in Magway Region.
Minbu District Battalion 5 said the attack took place at around 2 p.m. on September 19.
According to the group, the convoy consisted of **185 military vehicles** traveling from the Minbu area and was carrying weapons, ammunition, drones and senior military officers.
The group released video footage that it said showed an FPV drone destroying one of the vehicles.
It also claimed that military personnel were killed in the attack, although an exact casualty figure was not provided.

## 3. AA Releases POW Testimony and Captured Weapons from Sittwe-Ponnagyun Fighting
The **Arakan Army (AA)** has released footage showing prisoners of war and weapons it says were captured during recent fighting around the Sittwe-Ponnagyun border area in Rakhine State.
The AA said that during fighting between Kwan Taung and Amyint Kyun villages on September 16, it captured **34 weapons, one drone and ammunition** from Infantry Battalion 252 under the Pakokku-based 101st Light Infantry Division.
It also released video testimony from two captured soldiers, identified as Aung Pyae Sone and newly recruited soldier Michael.
In the footage, the prisoners alleged that junta commanders had instructed troops to kill Rakhine civilians without distinction, including women and children.
One prisoner alleged that troops had been ordered not to spare anyone they encountered. Another claimed that soldiers were also instructed to seize livestock and other property.
These allegations were presented by the AA through testimony from captured military personnel and have not been independently established in the report.
The prisoners also alleged that officers threatened to shoot soldiers who attempted to flee and said many rank-and-file soldiers no longer wanted to fight.
The junta launched what it calls **“Yan Naing Aung Operation”** toward Rakhine State beginning September 4, according to the report.

## 4. NUG Awards 100 Million Kyat to Drone Unit for Mi-17 Attack
The National Unity Government says it has awarded **100 million kyat** and a certificate of recognition to the Pauk Township People's Defense drone unit for an operation it says destroyed a junta **Mi-17 military helicopter** near Twin Ma village in Myaing Township, Magway Region.
The award ceremony was jointly organized by the NUG and the Magway Federal Unit interim government on September 20.
Acting President **Duwa Lashi La** delivered opening remarks, while the drone unit's commander, Ko Chan, presented an account of the operation.
Prime Minister **Mahn Win Khaing Than** presented the 100-million-kyat award, while Magway interim Prime Minister Dr. Ye Tun Zaw presented a certificate of recognition.
Other NUG officials, including Dr. Zaw Wai Soe and Defense Minister U Yee Mon, also delivered remarks.
Seven resistance fighters involved in the operation were recognized at the ceremony.

## 5. Schools and Monastery Damaged in Bilin; Civilian Deaths Reported Elsewhere

Two civilians were reportedly killed and three injured in an airstrike on September 17. Another strike on Myo Kone village the following night reportedly killed three civilians and injured nine.

## 6. Junta-Linked Local Officials Killed; Legal-Office Employee Abducted
Two people described by local sources as being linked to the junta were reportedly shot and killed within ten days in the Wet Htee Kan area of Pyay Township, Bago Region.
A man identified as Myo Chit, described as an informant for the Wet Htee Kan police station, was reportedly killed on September 10.
On September 18, village administrator Kyaw San was also reportedly killed.
Local residents said other administrators subsequently left the area.
Separately, in Thayetchaung Township, Tanintharyi Region, a senior female clerk from the township legal office, identified as **Khine Zin Htwe**, was reportedly abducted by unidentified armed individuals.
She was taken on September 14 while traveling to the legal office, according to the report.
It remains unclear which group was responsible for her abduction.
