📌📌 3. Union Minister U Soe Thura Tun said that he will do everything until the military council that destroys ancient heritage can be punished in international courts

In the 1954 Hague Convention, it was also stipulated that the destruction of ancient heritage is a war crime. There are good examples in the world of how to punish those who destroy heritage. For example, Ahmed Al Fateh, who ordered the attack on religious and ancient buildings, was punished by the international court in 2016. So we will definitely work to achieve the result,” said the minister.
