Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann said at the cabinet meeting No. 29/2023 of the National Unity Government held on August 29 that the government must adopt strong policies to solve the problems among the armed groups.

Sometimes the armed groups from the revolutionary side may forget what the root problem of the current revolution is, and there may be people who want to show their power over the people when they have weapons and bully them. We heard that people are worried because of the actions of some people. Therefore, it will be very important for the responsible ministries to have a step-by-step command system, discipline compliance, cooperation, and compact grouping, and to solve problems quickly if there are problems,” the Union Prime Minister said.

In addition, the armed resistance forces are the ones who have taken on the responsibility of keeping the people safe and warm, and if those who are supposed to protect them go down the wrong path, there may be harm to the revolution, the Union Prime Minister added.
