5. Justice For Myanmar -JFM has called for sanctions against Chinese and Myanmar companies involved in the terrorist military council's digital surveillance and internet hacking process. As the illegal terrorist military council accelerates the establishment of a digital dictatorship in Myanmar, the request concerns the investigation and surveillance of Internet users as well as initiatives to reduce Internet censorship. Based on sources such as leaked documents and business records, Justice For Myanmar discovered that two Chinese companies are involved in the regime's digital surveillance and internet censorship operation. According to the project plan documents, two products from the Chinese company Geedge Networks were used in the detection and internet censorship system. These products were sold by Jizhi (Hainan) Information Technology Company Limited and were operational in Myanmar at the end of May, according to JFM. According to reports, Mascots Group of companies, a crony company, is serving as a mediator to facilitate business between these companies and the terrorist military council. Dr. Win Kyaw and his wife Daw Khin Kay Khaing lead this set of companies, which are part of a network that includes at least 30 companies from Myanmar, Singapore, and Thailand. The UN Special Envoy to Myanmar identified and registered more than half of these companies. The international governments must thus take action by imposing targeted sanctions on Myanmar and foreign companies that are engaged in the terrorist military council's international crimes. JFM proposes that sanctions be imposed on Chinese and Myanmar companies involved in the terrorist military council's digital surveillance and internet cutoff operations.
