On February 1, marking the fourth anniversary of the Spring Revolution, Interim President Duwa Lashi La delivered a national address, emphasizing the critical need for military personnel and officers under the regime's command to join the people's side to decisively dismantle the military dictatorship.
He stated that contributions from members of the military who reject the regime’s oppressive rule are crucial for ending authoritarianism in Myanmar. The president also highlighted the bravery of those who had already defected to support the people, calling on the public to warmly welcome military defectors and officers anytime, anywhere.
Interim President Duwa Lashi La earnestly appealed to all military personnel to reject SAC and stand with the people. Revolutionary forces reiterated their determination to continue the fight until the fall of the dictatorship.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Airstrike on Rural Clinic and School in Kalay Township Kills Nine Civilians, Including Children, Injuring Around Thirty
Reports indicate that an airstrike by the junta forces on a rural health clinic and school in Kalay Township, Sagaing Region, resulted in nine civilian deaths, including children, and injured approximately thirty others.
The air raid occurred at around 5:30 PM on January 31, targeting the rural health clinic in Tin Thar village and the school in Kok Ko village, both located in southern Kalay Township.
Local media stated that the airstrike killed nine civilians, including displaced children, and injured about thirty others. Medical assistance is being provided to the injured, including some with severe wounds, according to aid workers.
Meanwhile, intense clashes were reported near the Indo-Myanmar border in Tamu Township, involving junta forces, allied groups such as the Shan Red Army (SNA) and the Kuki Liberation Army (UNLF), and resistance forces. Casualties were reported on both sides.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Resistance Forces Bomb Army Rum Distillery with 40mm Shells
The People's Defense Forces (PDF) of Yangon Region West District reported that they launched a coordinated attack on the Army Rum distillery in Shwepyitha Township, Yangon Region, on the night of January 31, around 10 PM.
Using 79mm rockets and three 40mm bombs, the attack reportedly hit its target successfully. The PDF stated that this was a retribution strike marking the fourth anniversary of the coup.
The military regime increased security measures in Yangon on February 1, deploying police vehicles and intensifying patrols in response to the anniversary of the coup.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. Financial Support for Families of 13 Fallen Heroes
On February 1, families of 13 fallen resistance members were financially supported by the Seikphyu-Bamartee People's Defense Force (PDF).
According to the PDF, funds donated by the public were pooled and distributed to the families along with apologies and condolences.
The PDF noted that 13 members from their group sacrificed their lives while fighting to eradicate the military dictatorship. Seikphyu-Bamartee PDF operates as a resistance force in Seikphyu Township under Pakokku District, Battalion 4, Company 2, actively countering the junta forces.
