The National Unity Government's (NUG) Union Prime Minister, Mann Win Khaing Than, has released footage of his meeting with battalions and units that are being deployed as part of military operations advancing toward Yangon.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Mann Win Khaing Than bid farewell to members of Pa Ka Pha Strike Force (4), the Special Operations Force (SOF), PDF Battalion (5101), and Battalion (5102) and inspected their weapons and ammunition.
“Today, your battalions will be redeploying. The reason behind this redeployment is clear—our government's objective is to push forward and reclaim control over Yangon and Bago. This is our mission, and that is why you are being deployed. This deployment marks the beginning of military engagements. You have completed your training, and you now possess substantial experience. I deeply honor your resilience,” the Prime Minister stated.
He further emphasized that deployment does not mean taking a simple stroll down a flowered path, but rather stepping into a challenging battlefield with the resolve to endure. He reiterated that the revolution aims to eradicate all forms of dictatorship, including military rule, and that Myanmar’s true development can only begin once tyranny is completely dismantled.
“Hold onto your objectives firmly. Success is already within reach, but with success comes intensified attempts to divide us,” he warned.
The Prime Minister also cautioned against the tactics of the so-called Third Group, which seeks to sow discord between the PDFs, the NUG, and ethnic revolutionary alliances.
“This revolution belongs to you—the youth and the people. We, as the government, serve only as coordinators and leaders. Moving forward, it will be you who rebuilds the nation. That is why you must remain steadfast in your objectives. The revolution's victory is near,” he declared.
Prime Minister Mann Win Khaing Than attributed the impending collapse of the military junta to the unity among revolutionary forces.
