๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 1. Meeting Between the Federal and State Coordination Commission (FSCC) and the Sagaing Federal Unit Parliament Attended by the Acting President and Chief Ministers

The Federal and State Coordination Commission (FSCC) and the Sagaing Federal Unit Parliament held a meeting on March 24, 2025, at 1:00 PM via Zoom, according to reports.

Acting President Duwa Lashi La delivered the opening speech, followed by U Myint Htwe, Speaker of the Sagaing Federal Unit Parliament, who presented updates on the ongoing efforts regarding the draft interim federal constitution of the Sagaing Federal Unit and the next steps in the process.

FSCC officials also engaged in open and constructive discussions regarding the initiatives undertaken by the Sagaing Federal Unit Parliament. After exchanging views, both sides agreed on the necessary steps for further collaboration and coordination in the upcoming processes.

The meeting was attended by FSCC Chairman and Acting President Duwa Lashi La, Vice Chairman and Union Prime Minister Mahn Win Khaing Than, Union Ministers from the Secretariat, FSCC officials, as well as the Speaker, Deputy Speaker, and representatives of the Sagaing Federal Unit Parliament.

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 2. Draft Interim Federal Constitution for Yangon Federal Unit Under Development

The draft interim federal constitution for the Yangon Federal Unit is currently under development, according to reports.

During the Seventh Session of the Yangon Parliament, the Legislation Drafting Committee’s annual report was presented by U Lu Min Tun, MP for North Okkalapa Township Constituency No. 2, providing insights into the progress.

According to the committee’s report, a 23-member drafting team has been formed to work on the draft.

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 3. SSPP/SSA Arrests an Illegal Scam Syndicate in Mong Hsu Township

The Shan State Progressive Party / Shan State Army (SSPP/SSA) has raided and arrested an illegal scam syndicate in Mong Hsu Township, southern Shan State, according to reports. Several illegal Chinese nationals and equipment used for fraudulent operations were seized during the operation.

Acting on intelligence reports about an illegal scam operation in a remote area of Mong Hsu Township, SSPP/SSA forces conducted the raid in the early hours of March 23.

It has been confirmed that the arrested Chinese nationals will be handed over to the relevant Chinese authorities.

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 4. Fundraising Fair Held in San Francisco Bay Area Under the Theme “Beyond Roma, Across the Irrawaddy, Marching Towards Victory”

The 21st fundraising fair, organized by the Free Burma Action Committee-Northern California, was held in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA, under the theme “Beyond Roma, Across the Irrawaddy, Marching Towards Victory”, according to reports. The proceeds from the event will be directly donated to support the revolution on the ground.

In addition to the fundraising fair, a Spring Revolution four-year journey photo exhibition was held for the first time. The event also included an advocacy campaign, where letters were sent to the U.S. government, senators, and congressional representatives, urging support for Myanmar’s cause.

A Revolutionary Thingyan Festival will be held at Casa Cervi, a historic site of the Italian Resistance, under the theme “Hope and Solidarity Spring Festival”, according to reports.

The event is being jointly organized by the Cervi Institute and the Giuseppe Malpeli Italy-Myanmar Friendship Association, bringing together Myanmar communities from across Italy to celebrate at Casa Cervi in Parma, Italy.

The festival aims to shed light on the current situation in Myanmar, raise funds to support displaced civilians, and reinforce the collective determination to continue the Spring Revolution.

Myanmar ethnic communities and friends of Myanmar from all over Italy have been invited to participate in the event.
