๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 1. Seven Junta Soldiers Killed in Min Kun Region Clashes; Phone of Tactical Operations Commander Seized, Revealing Social Scandal Evidence

During recent clashes in the Min Kun region, at least seven junta soldiers were killed, while several others, including Lieutenant Colonel Zin Myo Oo, Tactical Operations Deputy Commander of Division 33, sustained injuries, according to a March 24 statement from the Unicorn Guerrilla Force.

Amidst the battle, the phone belonging to Lt. Col. Zin Myo Oo was seized, revealing evidence of a social scandal involving a high-ranking officer from his unit and a school-aged girl. Additionally, other critical intelligence was obtained, though it has not yet been disclosed due to security concerns.

The Min Kun battle operations are being carried out jointly by the Unicorn Guerrilla Force, Twelikali Attacking and Production, Acid LPDF (Wetlet), Sagaing PDF, Min Kun PDF, Taw Twin Twae Pi, People Servant Force, Phoenix Sgg, Royal Falcon Guerrilla Force, Inn Thar Lay Heavy Artillery Force, and Golden Triangle.

According to reports, four allied resistance fighters sustained minor injuries during the operation.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 2. Nine Killed, Including an Officer, in Attack on Northwestern Military Command Headquarters

At least nine junta personnel, including a commissioned officer, were killed in an attack on the Northwestern Military Command Headquarters in Monywa, according to a follow-up statement from the Brave Warriors for Myanmar (BWM).

On March 23, resistance forces launched an attack on the command headquarters and an MI-17 helicopter parking area using three 107mm short-range rockets.

During the attack, the command office caught fire, injuring one officer, a senior clerk, and six other soldiers. Two clerks with severe injuries reportedly succumbed to their wounds.

Additionally, a helicopter storage warehouse was set ablaze, and an MI-17 military helicopter sustained possible damage, though investigations are still ongoing.

Among the reserve troops deployed for security, one officer and six other soldiers were killed, while twelve sustained injuries.

Critical military equipment inside Communication Workshop No. 81 was also destroyed by fire.

This attack was jointly carried out by the Brave Warriors for Myanmar (BWM), Freedom Revolution Force (FRF), Yan Gyi Aung (Buthidaung), Shadow (Monywa), and Democratic Rangers.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 3. Two Junta Soldiers Killed in Attack on Military Extortion Post at Shin Dat Wei Pagoda Entrance in Dawei

On March 22, at approximately 3:00 PM, resistance forces attacked junta soldiers stationed at a temporary checkpoint near the entrance of Shin Dat Wei Pagoda in Maung Mae Shaung Village, Dawei Township. The junta troops had been extorting travelers passing through the area.

As a result of the attack, two junta soldiers were killed, according to a statement from the Durhaka Guerrilla Column.

The operation was executed successfully, with all revolutionary fighters retreating safely without any casualties. The attack was led by the Durhaka Guerrilla Column, in coordination with the Yebyu People's Defense Force (YPPDF) under the Dawei National Liberation Army (DNLA).

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 4. Defector Who Stole Resistance Funds and Weapons, Later Turned Pyu Saw Htee, Found Dead from Gunshot Wounds

On the night of March 21, at approximately 8:00 PM, Zin Ko Oo (alias Kyaw Gyi)—a former resistance fighter who defected, stole funds and a firearm, and later joined the junta-backed Pyu Saw Htee militia—was found dead from gunshot wounds in the compound of Mingalar Uyana Monastery in Kalay, Sagaing Region.

According to local reports, Zin Ko Oo was shot twice in the abdomen, and the circumstances indicate that he was not killed by suicide.

Following the incident, junta forces sealed off the monastery, refused to release his body to the family, and secretly buried him at the Kalay outskirts cemetery overnight.

Some reports suggest that he was executed by a fellow Pyu Saw Htee member within the monastery compound.

Zin Ko Oo, in his early twenties, had been a former member of the Kalay People's Defense Force (Kalay PDF). In 2023, he stole resistance funds and a firearm, defected to the junta, and joined Pyu Saw Htee, operating under the military’s command.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 5. Two Pyu Saw Htee Members Captured During a Spot Check on the Bagan-Nyaung U Road

Bagan Bo Cho PDF has reported that two Pyu Saw Htee members were captured along with evidence during a spot check conducted by allied revolutionary forces on a section of the Bagan-Nyaung U road in Mandalay Region.

On the morning of March 23, at around 10 AM, Bagan Bo Cho PDF and allied forces conducted a security check, during which they apprehended Pyu Saw Htee members Zaw Myint from Htantapin Village and Aung Soe Win from Thupokone Village, along with incriminating documents.

Upon further interrogation, it was revealed that the two individuals had transported 50,000 rounds of ammunition from Kyaw Myo Lin and the Kyap Sa - 21 unit to Pakokku-based Infantry Battalion 101.

When arrangements were being made to transport them, the two individuals attempted to resist and escape, leading to their being shot and killed, according to the report.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 6. Deputy Platoon Commander from Naypyidaw PDF Killed in Battle of Moebye

A deputy platoon commander from Naypyidaw People's Defense Force (PDF) Battalion 805, under the Thanong Strike Force (Unit 1), was killed in action during the battle in Moebye, Southern Shan State, Taunggyi District.

According to reports, the commander, identified as Comrade Ngate, fell heroically while engaging in combat against junta forces in the battle that took place on March 22.

Comrade Ngate had been an exemplary fighter, serving diligently for over two and a half years after completing the Basic Military Training (Batch 2) under Battalion 805. In recognition of his sacrifice, an official statement honored his bravery and expressed condolences to his surviving family.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 7. Junta’s Atrocities in Oat Twin Township Leave One Civilian Dead and Over Seven Injured

According to a statement from Taungoo District Battalion 2, junta forces carried out violent attacks on a village in Oat Twin Township, Bago Region, resulting in one civilian death and injuries to over seven others.

On March 22 and 23, despite the absence of ongoing clashes, the junta launched indiscriminate attacks using heavy artillery, drones, and incendiary bombs, causing civilian casualties and property damage.

Reports confirm that one civilian was killed, over seven were injured, and at least seven houses were destroyed during the assaults.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 8. Commander of Logistics Battalion 3 Allegedly Forcing Soldiers into Battle Without Pay

Three defected soldiers have revealed that the commander of Logistics Battalion 3, Lieutenant Colonel Myint Htwe, has been forcing soldiers into the frontline battle in Banmauk without providing operational funds or salaries.

According to a March 24 broadcast by the Myanmar military, three soldiers—Sergeants Zaw Min Naing, Aung Aung, and Than Zaw—who defected during the Banmauk battle, exposed these injustices.

The defectors claimed that frontline soldiers were promised an operational allowance of 1,200 kyats per day and an additional 120,000 kyats while stationed at the frontline camps. However, they alleged that battalion commanders were embezzling these funds.

They further stated that they had never seen their battalion commander, Lieutenant Colonel Myint Htwe, at the frontline, while another officer, Major Htein Lin Oo, was accused of being self-serving and neglecting lower-ranking soldiers. The defectors highlighted systemic corruption within the ranks, stating that frontline troops were left unsupported while senior officers exploited resources for personal gain.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 9. Junta Soldier Defects with Weapons from Moebye-based Kha Ma Ya 508 Battalion

A junta soldier from the Moebye-based Kha Ma Ya 508 Battalion in Southern Shan State’s Taunggyi District has defected with weapons, according to a statement from Battalion 1001 of the Moebye People’s Defense Force (PDF).

On March 23, amid intense fighting in the Moebye region, a junta soldier who had been forcibly conscripted and trained fled to the Moebye PDF’s Lynx Unit, bringing along an MA1 rifle, five ammunition magazines, three Inaga grenades, three hand grenades, and additional ammunition.

The defected soldier reported that junta forces had suffered heavy casualties in the Moebye battle.

The Moebye PDF has confirmed that the soldier was provided with a reward and safely transferred to a secure location for protection. They also reiterated that they welcome all junta soldiers willing to defect and called on revolutionary supporters to contribute to military needs in the Moebye region.
