๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 1. Airstrike Destroys Homes in Hlay Swe Myaung Village, Oat Twin Township, Despite No Clashes

March 28

The No. 2 Battalion of Taungoo District reported this morning (March 28) that the military carried out an airstrike on Hlay Swe Myaung Village, Oat Twin Township, Bago Region, even though there were no ongoing clashes, resulting in the destruction of several homes.

According to video evidence released, the military regime’s forces dropped a bomb from an aircraft on March 26 at around 3:45 PM, setting houses on fire and causing significant damage.

Fortunately, no civilian casualties were reported, as local residents had been alerted to the airstrike threat in advance.

Additionally, on March 23, despite the absence of armed conflict, the military fired heavy artillery and carried out drone incendiary bomb attacks on a civilian village in Oat Twin Township. This assault resulted in the death of one civilian, injuries to at least seven others, and the destruction of seven homes.

The military regime has been deliberately targeting villages in Bago Region with heavy artillery shelling and frequent airstrikes, including the use of drones, forcing local residents to flee their homes. As a result, displaced civilians are in urgent need of food and medical supplies, according to the No. 2 Battalion of Taungoo District.

Revolutionary forces have been making efforts to assist the displaced people; however, shortages persist. The No. 2 Battalion has called on the public to support these displaced individuals by providing essential supplies as much as possible.
