I truly believe that they have pledged themselves to this cause, and I want to express my special commendation to all involved.

As the PDF reaches its fourth year, we can see it has reached a new level of operational effectiveness not observed in prior years.”

May 5

Deputy Minister of Defense Naing Kaung Ywet stated during his address marking the fourth anniversary of the People's Defense Force on May 5 that:

“Every single bullet fired at the terrorist military is part of a just war.

We understand very well that taking up arms in revolution demands the sacrifice of blood and sweat, the offering of lives, and the hardship of being separated from everything we love.

But we have chosen this path with unwavering conviction to uproot the tyrannical military regime.

Armed revolution became the only viable path to save the destiny of the nation and the lives of its people.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 6. "Now is the Time to Pressure Min Aung Hlaing Through Coordinated Military Campaigns": PDF Insight

May 5

According to an analysis by PDF Insight, "Now is the crucial time to step up military pressure on Min Aung Hlaing."

The report notes that:

“With the military junta already fragmented and weakened both militarily and administratively, it is time for all ethnic revolutionary forces, nationwide resistance movements, and the People’s Defense Force (PDF) and People's Defense Teams across the country to jointly escalate military operations and pressurize Min Aung Hlaing.”

PDF Insight also assessed that due to growing military setbacks, the junta no longer maintains effective control over most regions of the country.

Additionally, it stated that the recent earthquakes have further delayed the deployment and logistics of the junta's heavy weaponry, including air force assets and military convoys, hampering their operational capacity.
