📌📌 1. CRPH says that it believes that through the strong unity of all democratic revolutionary forces, including the Chin ethnic people, a new federal democratic union will be able to be achieved


The Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) stated the following in a message sent on March 20 to mark the 35th anniversary of Chin Revolution Day:

“The CRPH would like to express its gratitude to all the Chin revolutionary leaders, the Chin patriotic students and youth, and the Chin ethnic people residing in different locations, who have actively participated not only in the armed revolutionary fights against the evil dictatorship for many years but also in the Spring Revolution Front for their strong revolutionary spirit, the strength of the democratic mass movement, and the strength of their selfless contribution.”

The CRPH also stated that it firmly believes that the strong unification of all democratic revolutionary forces, including the Chin ethnic people, will be able to overcome the difficulties and obstacles of the victory of this spring revolution, which will lead everyone towards a new federal democratic union.

📌📌 2. The NUG’s Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration provided training in digital security to members of the township people’s administration bodies


On March 20, the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration of the National Unity Government announced the following regarding the digital security training:

“The Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration, in cooperation with the USIP Burma Program, provided digital security training for the members of the township people’s administration bodies beginning on March 18. The training took place from March 18 to March 19, 2023, over two days with two hours of teaching time per day, and was attended by members of the various township people’s administration groups.”

The training was delivered by USIP Burma Program instructors with the aim of making participants aware of the importance of digital security, discussing and identifying their needs with regard to digital security, and empowering them to put the necessary security measures in place when using regular mobile applications and safely sharing and storing digital files, said the announcement.

📌📌 5. The fundraising campaign “One Support = One Plant For Nature (Anyar Cherry to the Victory)” for the upland (Anyar) region has begun


On March 20, the NUG’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation announced that the campaign “One Support = One Plant For Nature (Anyar Cherry to the Victory)” to support peace in the upland region has begun.

“The Northwest Plains Revolutionary Forces (NPRF) organised this campaign with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation (MONREC-NUG) of the National Unity Government with the goals of using 80% of the proceeds to arm the NPRF, who are waging the offensive, and 20% for reforestation and medical facilities in the upland areas where the NPRF is based,” the announcement said.

According to the announcement, in this campaign for greening the upland regions, which is carried out with the support of the NUG’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, a tree will be planted for every contribution received.

📌📌 6. At least 10 soldiers were killed in an attack on a column of 120 terrorist military council members in Bawlakhe 


On March 19, the military news was reported by Hpruso PDF as follows:

“On March 16, at around 5:00 a.m., there was a half-hour-long clash between a terrorist military council column of about 120 troops that came in from the suspension bridge of Yaenipauk village in Bawlakhe township and our Central Division battalions. More than ten members of the terrorist military council were killed.”


According to the Hpruso PDF, the Battalion 1107, Battalion 1101, Battalion 1102, Battalion 1104, Battalion 1105, Battalion 1106, and Battalion 1108 of the Central Region Command (MOD-NUG) and the KNDF Battalion-21 participated in the clash.


During the battle, 4 civilians were injured and houses in the village were destroyed by fire due to the reckless firing of heavy weapons by the terrorist junta troops. After the two sides clashed, the terrorist military troops abducted seven civilians, including a woman and two students, from Yaenipauk village on the west bank of Punchaung, the Hpruso PDF said.

📌📌 7. During the three-day fighting in Yesagyo Township between the Myingyan Black Tiger (MBT) and the Monster Commando column of the junta’s 99th Division, six junta soldiers were killed, and the MBT’s headquarters base station was being seized by the junta


The military news was reported by the Myingyan Black Tiger on March 19:

“In the area of Myingyan Black Tiger (MBT) headquarters in Yey Le Gyun region of Yesagyo Township, Magway Division, the Monster Commando column of the junta’s 99th Division and the Black Tiger column of the MBT had a tense fighting for 3 days, and on March 18, we had to abandon our headquarters camp. Six junta soldiers were killed and many others were injured on the junta side, and the battle has continued to be fierce until today. Two members of the MBT were injured, with one of them receiving emergency medical treatment.”

📌📌 8. The food fundraising event for Myanmar’s liberation will be organised by NYCBC in the United States


The New York City Burmese Community (NYCBC) announced the food fundraising event on March 19:

“The NYCBC team members are planning to host a food fundraising event this coming Saturday, April 29, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Saint James Episcopal Church in Elmhurst, in order to effectively support the needs of our fellow combatants who will soon be fighting the final battle ‘from defence to offence,’ and therefore, we cordially invited Myanmar families from New York City and the surrounding area to help out.”


Those who want to sell food and souvenirs and support the fundraising event are invited to register through the online vendor registration.
