📌📌 1. Union Minister Dr. Tu Hkawng says that the official declaration of the right to self-defence is important for every revolutionary
Union Minister Dr. Tu Hkawng made a statement regarding the declaration of the People’s Defensive Revolution against the military junta two years ago on his Facebook page on September 10.
“D-day, what people are talking about, is an abbreviation of Defence Day. The Acting President of the NUG declared Defence Day (he didn’t mention D-Day) to officially recognise the people’s right to self-defence from being unjustly killed by Min Aung Hlaing. When people with an official right to self-defence engage in civil disobedience or take arms to defend themselves in a variety of ways, it will no longer be referred to as illegal. The ‘terrorist’ declared by Min Aung Hlaing (against revolutionaries) is no longer a terrorist in terms of legality due to this declaration of the right to self-defence. It is important for every revolutionary that an official declaration be made for their right to self-defence in any legal system,” the Union Minister stated.
The National Unity Government declared the People’s Defensive War on September 7, 2021, and it has been two years since then.
“Some people confuse D-day with the day for simultaneous operation launches. Up until now, defensives have been made in compliance with the right to self-defence using whatever weapons are available while fleeing. The strong offensive will come when we are settled down, since we travel this far, even while we are defending,” the Union Minister continued.

📌📌 2. About 80 percent of students do not go to military junta-run schools
In response to a question concerning the scope of educational services offered by the National Unity Government (NUG) in an interview, Dr. Sai Khaing Myo Tun, Deputy Minister of the NUG’s Ministry of Education, stated that about 80% of students do not enrol in the military junta-run schools.
“It’s difficult to say using figures. On the other hand, if we look at it from the other way around, there are approximately 80 percent of students who do not go to schools run by the military council. Those 80 percent of students are attending schools run by revolutionaries and schools in territories controlled by ethnic revolutionary groups,” he said.
The National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) has already approved the Federal Democracy Education Policy, which was drafted by the NUG Ministry of Education in collaboration with ethnic associations, educational institutions, and religious organisations.

📌📌 5. Burmese in the USA will rally in New York City to urge the UN Credentials Committee to recognise Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun as Myanmar’s official representative
“It has been two years since Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun raised his three-finger salute and stood as one with the people of Myanmar at the United Nations General Assembly in the early days of the Spring Revolution. The people of Myanmar want the UN to make it clear that it rejects the military junta, which brutally murders and mistreats its citizens, and they want the UN Credentials Committee, which has nine members, to recognise only Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun as the ambassador representing Myanmar. Therefore, in order for the United Nations to stand firmly on the side of the truth, the revolutionary supporters who love the truth and are residing in various areas of the United States are planning to gather and organise a protest at the UN headquarters in New York City,” the New York-based Myanmar democracy activist organisation NYCBC stated.
On September 16, the protest campaign is expected to begin in Manhattan at 1:00 p.m. Donors are also encouraged to provide food, drinks, and other supplies for those who will travel from all over the country to support the protest campaign.
