On September 23, Deputy Minister Ngai Tam Maung emphasised in a Facebook post the importance of unity over rivalry in the revolution.
“In my opinion, it is crucial for the revolutionary forces to be in a scenario where they respect each other, recognise each other, and come together, as this will strengthen the revolution and bring it to a quick end. However, we cannot expect it to be easy to create such a scenario, as everyone comes from different backgrounds, has unique experiences, and may also carry traumas from the revolution. We must build trust step by step, patiently negotiate, and find a solution together. Instead of trying to defeat each other, we must cooperate with each other to defeat the dictators!” Deputy Minister Ngai Tam Maung stated.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Minister noted that during the recent discussions involving various leaders of Chin ethnic organisations, which included township/regional administrative and defence bodies, leaders of the Chin National Front (CNF), and Chin parliament representatives, there was an improvement in mutual respect and unity.
