📌📌 1. The National Unity Government issued a statement saying that the military group disregarded the UN Security Council’s Resolution No. 2669 on Myanmar and is deliberately committing many terrorist acts against the public

On September 22, the National Unity Government issued a statement regarding the situation in Myanmar.

The statement included:

“The military council continues disregarding both the ASEAN 5 Points Consensus, which they agreed to, and UN Security Council Resolution 2669 on Myanmar, and committing many atrocious acts against people.

Now, due to these terrorist acts, the entire population of Myanmar is facing various social disasters, and about one-third of the population of Myanmar is in need of urgent humanitarian assistance.

In this scenario, it has been observed that the majority of international humanitarian contributions intended for Myanmar are being steered by a terrorist military group, resulting in the aid failing to reach those who require it, and impeding international families’ assistance.

Even as we work to end military rule, we are building a new system of freedom and justice for everyone. We urge the international community to join us in building this new Myanmar, through practical political, economic, and diplomatic assistance for the people of Myanmar.”
