📌📌 1. Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann said that the military council should be completely demolished with all force


At the 35th anniversary of the founding of the National League for Democracy (NLD) on September 27, Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann said this.

“Due to the resilience of the people and the collective power of all the revolutionary forces, the military council has now reached a situation where it cannot stand well in any sector with the disintegration within its military. In such a situation, we will have to use our collective forces and demolish it once and for all. I fully believe that this revolution, which has gained advantages that we have never had in ages to overthrow the dictator, is a revolution that will only bring us victories,” said the Union Prime Minister.

In addition, the Prime Minister added that it is time to protect Myanmar’s democracy and human rights by taking practical and more effective measures against the coup military council.

2. A humanitarian stance paper will be issued based on the results discussed at the Inclusive Humanitarian Conference


The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management announced that the Inclusive Humanitarian Conference-2023 was successfully held on September 27.

“The Joint Coordination Committee on Humanitarian Assistance (JCC-HA) of the National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC), of which the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs of the Government of National Unity is a member, the General Strike Coordination Body (GSCB), and other revolutionary forces successfully held an inclusive humanitarian conference on the topic of “Help the Myanmar people amidst the ashes with sympathy” from (23.9.2023) to (26.9.2023) using the Zoom Video Conferencing System,’’ it stated.

In order to achieve the 4 objectives of the conference, during the period of 4 days, (1) on the first day, the violence and human rights violations upon political prisoners in prisons (2) on the second day, the humanitarian crises faced by people fleeing the war from various areas, the support provided by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, ethnic revolutionary forces and non-governmental organizations, the support needs and the challenges they are currently facing, the safe and secure support route, issues that should be taken seriously to reduce civilian casualties, international appeals, the fact that terrorist military-linked aid is being used for political and military purposes instead of reaching those who really need it, and the needs of people fleeing the war, etc. were discussed.

Based on the results discussed at the conference, a humanitarian stance paper will be published, and networking and cooperation with various domestic and foreign organizations will be increased in order to receive international humanitarian aid.

3. During Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe’s trip to Australia, 20,355.19 Australian dollars were donated to the NUG Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education for the Spring Revolution Funds 


On September 27, the NUG Ministry of Health informed that during the trip of Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe to Australia, 20,355.19 Australian dollars were donated to the NUG Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education for the Spring Revolution Funds.

“In September 2023, during the visit of National Unity Government (NUG) Minister of Health and Education Professor Dr. Zaw Wai Soe to Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, Myanmar medical diaspora from Queensland donated 14,032 Australian Dollars (AUD) and Aye’s gallery by WY donated 6,323.19 Australian Dollars (AUD).

A total of 20,355.19 Australian Dollars was donated to the NUG Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education for the Spring Revolution Funds,” it stated.

4. Union Minister U Aung Myo Min held a meeting with Mr. Bernard Guetta, Vice Chairman of the Human Rights Committee of the European Parliament to discuss effective measures for the international crimes committed by Myanmar military group


On September 26, 2023, Union Minister for Human Rights U Aung Myo Min of National Unity Government met with Mr. Bernard Guetta, Vice Chairman of the Human Rights Committee of the European Parliament.

“In the meeting, the Minister presented the efforts of the National Unity Government in human rights, administration, judiciary and international affairs.

The Discussion points are to make European Parliament resolutions on Myanmar more effective and address international crimes committed by the Myanmar military group,” it stated.

5. The National League for Democracy urged the United Nations to continue to recognize Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun, who was elected by the people of Myanmar 


On September 27, the National League for Democracy’s (NLD) Central Work Committee announced that only Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun, who was elected by the people of Myanmar, should continue to be recognized by the United Nations.

“We would call on and urge the United Nations Credentials Committee to continue to only recognize Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun who was appointed during the civilian government elected by the people of Myanmar with the right to represent Myanmar at the United Nations.

We, National League for Democracy, call on and urge friendly countries and the international community to support us for the unconditional release of all political prisoners, including Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, chairperson of the National League for Democracy, who is essential in ensuring that Myanmar crisis does not escalate and spread to the level of regional problem and in building a federal democratic union, the provision of humanitarian assistance to war-affected civilians and stop the military from targeting and attacking of civilians as soon as possible,” the proclamation stated.

6. In Nay Pyi Taw area, 50 members of the terrorist military council were killed in the battle to capture Boma Thandaung camp


On September 27, Iron Tiger Battalion informed the military news that 50 members of the terrorist military council were killed in the battle to seize Boma Thandaung camp in Nay Pyi Taw area.

“In accordance with the battalion specially commanded by U Ko Gyi (aka) Than Lone, chairman of the KNLA Northern Special Battalion in Northern Thandaung Special Region to conduct military operations in Naypyidaw area, Tiger Warriors from the Iron Tiger Battalion successfully attacked and captured Boma Thandaung camp of the military council on August 10, 2023, at dawn (45 minutes long), and 13 types of weapons and ammunition, including a pistol held by an officer of the military council, were seized. In that camp capture battle, 16 military council soldiers, including an officer, were killed, and 2 fled with wounds. During the camp capture battle at Boma Thandaung camp, 3 comrades from the PKS-PDF 1004 Battalion, ally of Iron Tiger Battalion, sacrificed their lives honorably, and 4 got non-critical injuries,” it stated.

After the camp capture battle, from August 11, 2023, to August 14, 2023, the military council soldiers of the Nay Pyi Taw military coalition who came to reinforce the Boma Thandaung military council camp were ambushed and mined 6 times in guerrilla tactics by comrades of the Iron Tiger Battalion after receiving first-hand information, resulting in the deaths of 34 military council soldiers and many injuries.

7. SPECIAL OPERATION FORCE (S.O.F) is intensifying the attacks on the military targets of the enemy in the southern military region with various military tactics


The Special Operation Force (S.O.F.) announced on September 27 that the enemy’s military targets in the southern military region are being attacked with various military tactics. 

“On August 12, surveillance officer Tun Naing Lin from Zin Kyaik Police Station, Mon State, under the terrorist military council was attacked at close-range and died on the spot,” it stated.

On August 27, the terrorist military council troops stationed at the township administration office in Paung Township were attacked with 7 bombs dropped by a remote-controlled drone, and Major Kyaw Naing Oo, a captain, two corporals, and a private were seriously injured. Two of them reportedly died in the hospital. 

On August 28, Aung Ngwe Tun (aka Maung Tu), an armed Pyu Saw Htee leader under the terrorist military council in Thabyu Chaung Village, Paung Township, was ambushed with guerilla tactics and killed.

On September 3, surveillance officer Ko Lwin from Paung Township Police Station, Mon State, was killed in a close-range attack, and a hand grenade and a knife were seized from him.

It is reported that the operations were carried out in cooperation with comrades from Battalion 2 of KNU Brigade 1, Mon Special Operations Force (MSOF), and PaKaFa groups.

8. Kale Township Court sentenced four members of the Kale Main Strike Group to long prison terms


On September 27, the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (Burma) stated in its “Daily Briefing in Relation to the Military Coup (updated on September 27, 2023).

“On September 25, the Kale Township Court sentenced four members of the Kale Main Strike Group: Than Soe Oo, Cing Deih Kim, Hnin San, and Myo Ko Win, to each serve an additional 10 years in prison under Sections 50(j), 50(h) and 52(a) of the Counter-Terrorism Law. They each had previously been sentenced to 2 years imprisonment under Section 505 A of the Penal Code on May 10, making 12 years to each serve in prison in total. They were arrested by junta forces on April 16 when they were protesting against the military dictatorship on Bogyoke Road in Tat U Thi Dar Ward, Kale Town, Sagaing Region,” it stated.

Since the coup, a total of (24,850) people have been arrested by the junta in relation to its seizure of power, (19,278) are currently in detention, (7,382) of whom are serving sentences.
