📌 Spring Revolution Local News – Sep 09, 2023(Morning)

📌📌 1. CRPH sent a message to the 75th Anniversary of Karenni National Martyrs’ Day that ethnic people across the country, including the Karenni ethnic group, have become more aware of politics and revolution in this spring revolution

In this spring revolution, the ethnic people across the country, including the Karenni, have become more politically and revolutionarily conscious, according to CRPH’s message on the 75th Anniversary of Karenni National Martyrs’ Day. It stated:

“It has been Diamond Jubilee (75 years) since Karenni National Martyrs’ Day was celebrated to commemorate the death of Gobi Turee, the president of the Karenni National Association and the leader of the resistance revolution, on September 8, 1948, due to the assassination of the imperialist AFPFL government.

Together with all the Karenni ethnics, we would like to express our eternal respect and remembrance to all the Karenni martyrs who sacrificed their lives and bodies throughout the ages.

Today is a special day that the whole Karenni people remember and pay respect to all the martyrs, leaders and comrades who sacrificed their lives, blood, sweat, physical strength, and intellectual strength from the time they fought for the restoration of independence of the Karenni land, which was lost due to the invasion of the imperialist AFPFL government, until the Spring Revolution.

Throughout the history of our country, successive dictators have destroyed the values of freedom and equality of all ethnic people by relying on weapons and acting only for their own interests. As a result, all ethnic groups have lost their birthrights and have had to live with a lot of oppression.

In this Spring Revolution, the ethnic people across the country, including the Karenni ethnics, are more alive with political and revolutionary awareness, and I would like to express that I am very proud of the fact that they are not only resisting with speed and unity to free themselves from the dictatorship, but also are actually implementing the process of building a federal democratic state.”

There are many people who want to join CDM right now. There are those who are frightened by this propaganda. There are many people who have contacted us even now despite being threatened by the military council,” the Deputy Minister said.
