📌📌 1. The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Defence of the National Unity Government delivered a message to Tanintharyi PaKaFa’s refresher course completion ceremony 


People Defense Organization – Tanintharyi Division (PDO – TNI) announced that Tanintharyi PaKaFa under the Ministry of Defence of the National Unity Government, conducted a refresher training course at a place under the control of the Tanintharyi People Defense Force. 

The Deputy Minister of Defence of National Unity Government, Nai Kao Rot, delivered a message to the ceremony, which was held on the morning of October 20 and the person in charge of the people’s defense force read the message.

After that, the township PaKaFa’s military officer in charge made a speech and explained to the soldiers the codes of conduct they must follow and the duties and responsibilities that they must perform.

In addition, the soldiers performed a military parade, saluted the flag, and were welcomed by the people with garlands.

📌📌 2. Heavy artillery and air defense training delivered to Kyaukkyi residents, who are frequently attacked by the military council


The KNU reported that the local people in Kyaukkyi (Ler Doh) Township, Nyaunglebin District, Brigade 3 of KNU (Karen National Union) were given training on air and heavy artillery defense.

“The KNU Ler Doh Township Health Department, Free Burma Ranger (FBR) and the Karen Emergency Relief Team jointly conducted the above training for the people of the villages fleeing the war on the west side of the Sittaung River in Kyaukkyi (Ler Doh) Township, which is frequently attacked by the military council.

Starting on October 18, we have been providing emergency assistance and needed food and delivering courses to residents about heavy weapons and air defense.

The Free Burma Ranger (FBR) group provided the necessary food and medicine during the trip,” KNU’s press release stated.

In Kyaukkyi Township, the military council forces are frequently carrying out aerial bombardments and heavy artillery attacks targeting civilians. Also this month, the military junta’s attacks on local villages have resulted in civilian casualties, damage to homes, and the deaths of domestic animals.

📌📌 3. PDFs harvested the rice fields of local people displaced by war and floods and delivered them to their owners


Moebye people defense force – Local PDF announced that they harvested the rice fields planted by local people who were displaced due to the war and flood in Karenni (Kayah) State and delivered them to their owners.

“Due to heavy rains and floods in Mobye Township, IDPs had to relocate again, so they were unable to harvest the rice fields. Therefore, PDF comrades harvested some of the rice fields and delivered them to the farmers who are the owners of the rice fields,” said the Central News and Information Officer from Moebye Local PDF.  

Moebye Local PDF also announced on the evening of October 23 that they stand in solidarity with the people and will fight until the end of the revolution.

In addition to the heavy rains in Mobye Township in the past few days, the military council opened the Mobye dam excessively, causing hundreds of fields near Mobye to be destroyed. In addition to this, about 1,500 IDPs living along the Bhilu Creek were also relocated.

📌📌 4. The S&C group said that a thousand houses have been reached with the Home Donation Project 


The official in charge of the S&C War Disaster, Fire Disaster, and Education Assistance Group said that they are building houses for the households that were destroyed by fire in Shwebo District and Monywa District, and that they will soon complete a thousand houses.

S&C War Disaster, Fire Disaster, and Education Assistance Group is rebuilding houses for families in Shwe Bo, Depayin, and Ye-U in Shwe Bo District and Monywa District that were destroyed by the terrorist military.

The cost of a house was only 200,000 kyats when it was first built, but due to the increase in commodity prices, the current cost of a house is around 250,000 kyats, S&C team manager Ko Soe Moe Aung told Radio NUG.

“At the beginning of the project, it cost only 200,000 kyats. From 200,000 to 230,000 kyats, the prices went up little by little due to increased commodity prices. Lately, it has cost around 250,000. Home donations have reached a thousand houses. We have obtained our donation amount. 967 houses have been constructed on the ground. We are currently building another 37 houses. We hope to finish this month,” it stated.

After the completion of the Home Donation Project that is currently under construction, the group planned to build mobile homes that can be easily moved.

S&C War Disaster, Fire Disaster, and Education Assistance Group is a civil society organization that has been building homes for families affected by fire since the beginning of this year, donating food to families displaced by war, providing education and teaching materials to children affected by war and fire with the support of donors, and providing health care.

📌📌 5. A revolutionary fundraising concert held in Salingyi


It is reported that the members of the strike committee visited the villages in Salingyi Township of Sagaing Region and held a revolutionary fundraising concert.

On October 23, the strike committee of villages along the banks of the Chindwin River visited two villages in Salingyi Township despite the difficulty of transportation and held a revolutionary fundraising concert with songs and dances.

“It’s not an event for fun. The raised funds are to be used in areas such as displacing war and fire while bearing the responsibility for the revolution from one corner,” said the strike committee of the villages along the Chindwin River.

It is reported that the village officials provided security for the fundraising event. In addition, the strike committee of the villages on the banks of the Chindwin River urged each and every one of the people to shoulder their responsibilities and boldly walk towards the goal of the revolution.

📌📌 6. Military council forces stationed in Myinmu and Myaung townships were attacked by drones


The CDSOM (Civilian’s Defense & Security Organization of Myaung) stated that the military council forces stationed in Myinmu Township and Myaung Township in Sagaing Division were bombed by drones.

“On October 21, we conducted aerial operations with Shar Htoo WAW technology drones on the military council troops stationed in Myinmu Township and Myaung Township. We used 3 UAVs and dropped 8 bombs to attack the terrorist military council stationed near Gway Pin Taw, Myinmu Township, and 4 of the bombs hit the target and exploded. The base station was attacked by drones for 2 and a half hours. In the evening of that day, 3 bombs were dropped on the terrorist military council troops stationed at the Kyauk Yit police station.

These attacks were carried out by the 001 Drone Team of CDSOM, Sagaing District Battalion 6 Company 2, Myaung PaLaFa, Myinmu PaKaFa, Sin Yaing Column – Myaung, Sintkaing Revolution Force, Sintkaing PaKaFa, and Wild Bird Kawlin. The casualties of the military council troops are not known yet,” CDSOM stated.

📌📌 7. A fight broke out between PDF and the terrorist army near the two-hundred-acre teak plantation in Min Hla Township


Thayarwaddy District Battalion 3802 Company 5 has reported that a fight broke out between the PDF and the terrorist army near a two-hundred-acre teak plantation in Bago Yoma of Min Hla Township, Thayarwaddy District, Bago Division.

On October 22, at 9:30 am, a clash broke out between the 20-strong terrorist military council column that abducted 6 civilians and the Thayarwaddy District Battalion 3802 Company 5.

During the battle, 1 soldier of the terrorist military council was seriously injured due to the firing of the revolutionary forces, and it was reported that the junta military retreated carrying the wounded soldier.

📌📌 8. The military fired cannons at the road security team and 4 soldiers were killed as a result of the retaliatory attack


“The junta soldiers opened fire on a KNLA and PDF joint forces that were conducting road security near Apyin Sakhan Gyi Village in Ye Township in Mon State. In the return fire by the joint forces, 4 junta soldiers were killed and one was seriously injured, according to a statement issued by the Deputy Commander’s Office of Sub-Military Region-3 of Southern Regional Command.

The Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and PDF revolutionary joint forces were conducting a security check on the Mawlamyine-Ye-Dawei No. 8 Union Road near Apyin Sakhan Gyi Village at about 9:00 a.m. on October 22. At around 10:30 in the morning, the terrorist junta soldiers fired 3 shells randomly, and 2 of them exploded. 

Because of this attack, the joint forces retreated, deployed at Phayar Kone near the village of Apyin Sakhan Gyi, and waited. A contact battle broke out when about 20 junta soldiers approached. During this 10-minute battle, about four terrorist junta soldiers were killed and one was seriously injured. Revolutionary joint forces were unharmed,” the Deputy Commander’s Office of Sub-Military Region-3 of Southern Regional Command stated.

It is reported that KNLA and PDF joint forces are conducting daily security checks along the Mawlamyine-Ye-Dawei No. 8 Union Highway to ensure the safety of the area and the safe travel of tourists. Therefore, vehicles traveling on Mawlamyine, Mudon, Ye, Thanbyuzayat, Dawei, and Myeik roads are urged to willingly accept when KNLA and PDF joint forces inspect, not to carry people and goods related to the military council, not to ride in military council vehicles, and vehicles used by other ethnic armed groups to be inspected willingly.
