📌📌 1. The Union Prime Minister Highlights Stark Differences in Quality and Conviction Between Defence Soldiers and Military Junta Soldiers

Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann remarked about the people’s defence soldiers on October 7: “The resistance war being waged by our people’s defence soldiers is for the country and its citizens, democracy, human rights, justice, and the establishment of a Federal Union that ensures equality. The stark differences in quality and conviction between our defence soldiers and the terrorist fascist soldiers, who employ weapons to abuse, burn, and kill innocent people, are akin to the sky and ground.”

Furthermore, the Union Prime Minister went on to say that the National Unity Government has been providing necessary training for them to become good people’s defence soldiers.

Currently, there are approximately 300 battalions and columns of the People’s Defence Force (PDF) established under the Ministry of Defence, in addition to the People’s Defence Organisations (PDO/Pa-Ka-Fa) formed in over 250 townships that function as people’s militias, in total, with hundreds of thousands of people’s defence soldiers across the country.
