4. After the military takeover, the terrorist military junta, led by Min Aung Hlaing, exploited propaganda outlets and social networking platforms to carry out violence against revolutionary forces. They mostly used one of the social media platforms, Telegram, for propaganda. According to Burma Affairs Conflict Study research, the terrorist military junta's media channels uploaded more than 160 posts last week while certain revolutionary forces committed terrorist acts. The destruction of electric towers, including the Kyoneait Bridge, by KNU/PDF joint forces, the mass killings in Sonewya village, war crimes in Lethtotetaw village, and landmine incidents on public roads attracted the interest of Telegram members of terrorist military junta support groups. The terrorist military junta also spread false information regarding the death of KIA, Deputy Commander-in-Chief Lt. Gen. Khaung Loong. Additionally, their forces massacred 33 locals in Lethtotetaw village in Myinmu Township. Nevertheless, they continued in spreading the narrative that the revolutionary forces were involved in crimes; for example, the airstrike attack in Akyipanpalun village was portrayed as an attack on the headquarters of the PDF; the mass killing in SoneYwar and Lethtotetaw villages; the substitute hoisting of the Ta-ang flag of the TNLA in Kutkai township; the ethnic armed organizations using the Myanmar PDF for their own purposes; the revolutionary forces were accused of crimes against civilians; and they created a conflict between the Rohingya and Rakhine, using racist oppression and burning Rohingya villages. The Burma Affairs Conflict Study is monitoring the terrorist military junta's propaganda and psychological warfare, which are divided into 23 types of contents: six under the personal name of the terrorist military junta lobby telegram, six under the name of the news station, and news scrutinizing model-style channel.
