📌📌 1. PSLF/TNLA Urged to Continue Efforts Until Full Achievement of Political and Military Objectives by MNDAA and AA

The PSLF/TNLA (Pa Laung State Liberation Front/Ta’ang National Liberation Army) has been urged by allied forces MNDAA (Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army) and AA (Arakan Army) to make continuous efforts until the complete realization of their political and military objectives.

This encouragement was expressed in messages of solidarity sent by MNDAA and AA to commemorate the 62nd anniversary of the Ta’ang National Revolution Day.

The PSLF/TNLA, alongside its allied forces MNDAA and AA, has persistently pursued its political and military goals, leading to significant progress toward achieving these objectives for the entire Ta’ang nation. Therefore, the MNDAA and AA emphasized their commitment to encouraging PSLF/TNLA to further intensify its efforts to fully achieve its aims with steadfast alliance spirit.

Additionally, the MNDAA and AA noted in their solidarity message that they appreciate the assessments and statements issued by the PSLF/TNLA during their annual meeting on January 10 and the subsequent announcement on January 12.

They also expressed reverence for all those who sacrificed their lives, bodies, and blood during the revolutionary period.

The three allied forces—MNDAA, TNLA, and AA—have successfully cooperated in combating their common enemy, the oppressive military junta, within their respective territories. This collaboration, marked by mutual support and unity, has resulted in substantial victories despite prolonged hardships.

The MNDAA and AA further pledged in their message to work together with PSLF/TNLA to overcome challenges and obstacles accompanying their victories, emphasizing their readiness to solve these issues collectively with unwavering unity and alliance spirit.

📌📌 2. Mandalay PDF Welcomes People’s Government to be Formed by PSLF/TNLA

The Mandalay People’s Defense Force (PDF) announced its support for the people’s government to be established by the PSLF/TNLA under the framework of the revolutionary interim administrative plan outlined by the Ta’ang Political Consultative Council.

This statement was made in a message of solidarity sent to commemorate the 62nd anniversary of Ta’ang National Revolution Day.

The Mandalay PDF expressed its honor in being given the opportunity to send a message of solidarity to the event. It praised the PSLF/TNLA’s leadership in liberating the Ta’ang region from the oppressive military junta, marking a historic victory for the Ta’ang people.

As a revolutionary group originating from the Ta’ang region, the Mandalay PDF emphasized its gratitude and pride in the contributions of the Ta’ang people. The solidarity message further reiterated the Mandalay PDF’s commitment to joining forces with the Ta’ang people and advancing operations to end the military dictatorship nationwide.

The TNLA also declared its intention to cooperate with revolutionary forces across Myanmar to completely dismantle the military junta through coordinated revolutionary efforts.

📌📌 3. Two Soldiers Defect with Weapons and Ammunition in Bago Region

Two soldiers from the military junta defected with weapons and ammunition in Bago Region, according to an announcement by Battalion 2, P2-3702, under Bago District Command.

The two soldiers defected on January 5 after being contacted by a local resident. They surrendered to the battalion commander, who warmly welcomed them.

The defectors brought with them an MA-1 rifle, an MA-3 rifle, eight magazines, and 200 rounds of 5.56 mm ammunition. They were rewarded with monetary incentives and are currently being housed in a secure location, receiving medical care and support.

The Bago District Command encouraged remaining junta soldiers to defect and stand with the people.

📌📌 4. Police Officer Defects with Weapon in Pakokku Township

January 12

A police officer from the military junta’s Pakokku Township Police Station in Magway Region defected on January 10 with a weapon, according to the Yezagyo Township People’s Defense Force (PDF).

The 27-year-old officer, Aye Chan Aung, surrendered with a G3 rifle and 90 rounds of ammunition. He was awarded 300,000 MMK and is now in a secure location in good health.

The officer, who had served in the police force for about 10 years, coordinated with revolutionary forces before defecting. The local PDF units safely escorted him and expressed gratitude to the responsible units for their assistance.

The Yezagyo Township PDF reiterated its assurance that junta personnel willing to defect would be welcomed and supported in their transition to the people's side.
