๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 1. Chin State Prioritized for Junta-Free Operations, Says Salai Htet Ni

February 15

The primary objective this year is to make Chin State junta-free, even if the entire country cannot achieve this, according to Salai Htet Ni, Secretary-1 of the Chinland Council.

He made this statement during a press conference held by the Chinland Council on February 6.

"Even if we cannot accomplish it nationwide, 2025 is the year we strategically and systematically work to make Chin State free of the junta," Salai Htet Ni stated.

The Chinland Council also announced that resistance forces have taken control of seven out of approximately 20 townships in Chin State.

Meanwhile, the ‘Chin National Brotherhood’ has also launched operations and taken control of key district-level towns, including Mindat and Matupi, as well as Kyindwe, Kanpetlet, and Makui Ain Nu.

This means that only Hakha, Thantlang, Tedim, and Falam remain under junta control in Chin State.

At present, ‘Chin National Brotherhood’ forces are conducting operations to fully capture Falam.

In Hakha, the junta still holds strategic positions alongside Infantry Battalion 266. Meanwhile, Infantry Battalion 268 is stationed in Falam, Infantry Battalion 269 in Tedim, and both Infantry Battalions 268 and 269 oversee junta forces in Thantlang.

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 2. Public Administration Group Warns Against Using Loudspeakers in Kale Township Due to Airstrike Risks

February 15

Amid ongoing junta airstrikes in Kale Township, Sagaing Region, the Township Public Administration Group has issued a warning against using loudspeakers.

Citing security concerns, the group released a statement on February 12, urging the public to limit celebrations, including festivals and donation events, and to completely refrain from using loudspeakers. The statement also called on residents to cooperate with security precautions.

Records indicate that the junta launched intense airstrikes in Kale Township starting in late January.

On January 31 and February 2, junta airstrikes resulted in the deaths of nine civilians, including five family members. From February 12 to 14, the junta carried out air raids using Y-12 aircraft, dropping more than 130 bombs. Jet fighters were also deployed for attacks, causing damage to infrastructure, though no civilian casualties were reported.

On February 13, revolutionary forces successfully seized the junta’s military base at Kan Par Ni along the Kale-Gangaw road in southern Kale Township.

In light of these developments, the Township Public Administration Group has urged residents to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions against airstrike threats.

Additionally, on February 14, the Ministry of Defense under the National Unity Government (NUG) issued further safety guidelines on minimizing casualties during airstrikes.
