Fierce clashes have been ongoing between the junta forces and Revolutionary Allied Forces across various locations in Tanintharyi Township, Myeik District, Tanintharyi Region, since January, according to a statement released on February 14 by the People's Defense Joint Command (1) of Myeik District.
The junta, deploying a large number of troops, has been raiding villages, arresting and killing civilians, destroying homes, and looting public property. In response, the Revolutionary Allied Forces have been launching intense counteroffensives.
During these engagements, the junta forces have suffered significant casualties, while the Revolutionary Allied Forces have also sustained some losses, the statement added.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Resistance Forces Attack Junta Convoy Sent to Extort Money from Travelers Near Nganzun, Killing Five Soldiers

At approximately 12:00 PM on February 12, a military convoy of around 100 junta and Pyu Saw Htee personnel was deployed west of Nganzun Township to extort money from travelers. As they reached Sapya Kyin village, the TGYR-Drone Team launched an airstrike using two Fixed-Wing Drones, dropping two 700Kg bombs on the convoy, according to a statement by TGYR.
Later, at around 4:00 PM, as the junta forces retreated eastward toward a monastery in Sapya Kyin village, the TGYR unit, in coordination with allied People’s Defense Forces, launched a second attack using 40MM Pading heavy and light weapons. The battle lasted approximately 30 minutes.
Initial reports indicate that five junta soldiers were killed in the attack.
The operation was carried out jointly by TGYR - Youth Guerrilla Counter Revolution - NZ, TGYR Drone Team, Mandalay District Battalion 5, Amarapura Township (Pa Ka Pha), Anyathar - Guerrilla Unit, Ah Man Thit - Guerrilla Unit, and Nganzun Township (Pa Ka Pha), the statement confirmed.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Resistance Forces Capture Junta Base in Kalay Township; Junta Retaliates with Airstrikes on Field Hospitals

Starting from February 11, Revolutionary Allied Forces launched an assault on the fortified "Kan Par Ni" outpost, a military and Pyu Saw Htee stronghold near the Manipur-Muu River Bridge in southern Kalay Township, near the Gangaw Township border. The outpost, manned by around 70 junta personnel, was captured on February 13 after heavy fighting, resulting in significant junta and Pyu Saw Htee casualties. A large cache of weapons and ammunition was also seized, according to Chin news sources.
The junta launched counteroffensives to regain the outpost, leading to ongoing clashes and airstrikes. Reports indicate that over 20 junta soldiers have been captured in the fighting.
On February 13, the junta conducted an airstrike on a field hospital near Ha Kharlay village, injuring three people. On the morning of February 14, at around 10:20 AM, junta aircraft also bombed Nat Chaung District Hospital, severely damaging nearly all of its structures, though no civilian casualties were reported.
Additionally, on the evening of February 14, at approximately 6:47 PM, junta fighter jets carried out another airstrike on a medical clinic in Kyaw Village, Kalay Township.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. Junta and PNA Forces Attack Villages in Nyaung Shwe Township with Artillery and Drones

On February 13, at approximately 11:30 AM, junta forces and their subordinate PNA militia launched an attack on Bhu Yat Taung village, located in Nyaung Shwe Township’s Ye Pu village tract, without any preceding battle. The attack involved heavy artillery shelling and six drone bombings, damaging two houses, according to a report by the Inle Region Human Rights Organization.
Similarly, on the evening of February 13, at around 6:00 PM, the junta and PNA forces fired heavy artillery at Taung Po Kwe village in Nyaung Shwe Township. The attack injured a 30-year-old male resident in the hand. Later, at around 11:20 PM, another round of artillery shelling struck the village, setting one house on fire and destroying it.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 5. Local PDF Successfully Tests Long-Range Artillery in Sagaing Region

On February 13, at around 3:00 PM, the Local PDF (Daung Pyan) unit successfully conducted a test firing of an indigenously developed long-range artillery weapon, targeting junta garrisons in Buthalin town, Sagaing Region, according to a statement released by the unit.
The newly developed weapon was produced with the support of the people, preserving traditional craftsmanship, and was successfully used to strike military command bases located up to two miles away.
