๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 1. Moe Bye People's Defense Force Invites Participation in Quadcopter Drone Project

February 25

The Moe Bye People's Defense Force (PDF) has issued an invitation on February 25 for participation in the Quadcopter Drone Project.

"Greetings to all our fellow supporters who have continuously provided assistance to the Moe Bye region.

We, the Moe Bye PDF, are working to bring in a new comrade who will stand with us fearlessly on the frontlines. This new recruit is none other than the Quadcopter Drone.

Drones play a crucial role in camp seizure operations by providing early reconnaissance and targeting key enemy positions. This enables faster and more effective control over enemy strongholds. Additionally, drones can accurately strike enemy bunkers that are otherwise difficult for ground forces to penetrate," the statement reads.

The project's fundraising target is set at 70 million MMK, running from February 25 to March 27.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 2. Justice For Myanmar Urges Thai Government to Issue Arrest Warrants for Karen Border Guard Force Leaders

Justice For Myanmar has called on the Thai government to issue arrest warrants for leaders of the Karen Border Guard Force (BGF).

The Thai Department of Special Investigation (DSI) is currently investigating three BGF leaders—Saw Chit Thu (real name San Myint), Tin Win, and Mote Thone—on charges related to human trafficking, with efforts underway to secure arrest warrants, according to a statement released by Justice For Myanmar on February 25.

The organization urged the Thai government to expedite the process and submit the necessary requests to the courts. It emphasized that issuing these arrest warrants would be a significant step toward addressing the crimes committed by BGF leaders along the Thai-Myanmar border.

Justice For Myanmar also noted that the involvement of the BGF in cyber fraud operations is extensive and that temporary crackdowns should not allow them to evade accountability.

A 2024 Justice For Myanmar report revealed that BGF leaders and their families have profited from cross-border criminal activities, including land control, real estate, taxation, security services, smuggling, human trafficking, and consumer goods trade.
