๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 1. Clashes in Min Kun Region Result in 7 Junta Troops Killed; Phone of Battalion 33 Deputy Commander Seized, Containing Evidence of Social Exploits

Amid clashes in the Min Kun region, approximately seven junta soldiers were killed, and many others were injured, including Colonel Zin Myo Oo, the Deputy Commander of Battalion 33, according to a statement released by the Unikorn Guerrilla Force on March 24.

During the battle, the phone of Colonel Zin Myo Oo was seized, containing concrete evidence of social exploits involving another high-ranking officer within his unit and an underage girl. Additionally, other critical intelligence was obtained but has not yet been disclosed due to security concerns.

The offensives in Min Kun are being carried out by a coalition of resistance forces, including the Unikorn Guerrilla Force, Htway Li Ka Li Attacking and Production, Acid LPDF (Wetlet), Sagaing PDF, Min Kun PDF, Taw Twin Toot Pe, People Servant Force, Phoenix Sgg, Royal Falcon Guerrilla Force, Inn Thar Lay Artillery Force, and Golden Triangle. The clashes are ongoing, and four allied resistance fighters sustained minor injuries, according to reports.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 2. Attack on Northwest Regional Military Command Leaves 9 Dead, Including a Senior Officer

The Northwest Regional Military Command headquarters in Monywa was attacked with short-range rockets, resulting in the deaths of approximately nine junta personnel, including a senior officer, according to a statement from Brave Warriors for Myanmar (BWM).

On March 23, three 107mm short-range rockets were fired at the headquarters office and the MI-17 helicopter parking area. The attack caused a fire at the administrative office, injuring a senior officer, a warrant officer, and six lower-ranking soldiers. Among them, two clerks later succumbed to their injuries.

Additionally, a warehouse storing military supplies near the helicopter landing site caught fire. The attack also resulted in the deaths of an officer and six lower-ranking personnel from a reinforcement battalion stationed at the site for security, with 12 others sustaining injuries.

Furthermore, communication equipment stored in Workshop No. 81 was also destroyed in the fire. One MI-17 military helicopter was reportedly damaged, though investigations are ongoing.

The attack was jointly carried out by Brave Warriors for Myanmar (BWM), Freedom Revolution Force (FRF), Yan Gyi Aung (Buthidaung), Shadow (Monywa), and the Democratic Rangers.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 3. Two Junta Soldiers Killed in an Attack on Troops Extorting Travelers at the Entrance of Shin Dhatu Wai Pagoda in Dawei

On March 22, around 3:00 PM, resistance forces launched an attack on junta troops stationed at the entrance of Shin Dhatu Wai Pagoda in Maung Mae Shaung Village, Dawei Township, where they had been extorting travelers. The attack resulted in the deaths of two junta soldiers, according to a statement from the Duraka Column.

The resistance forces successfully retreated without any casualties. The operation was led by the Duraka Column under the Democratic Karen Benevolent Army (DNLA), in coordination with the Ye Phyu People’s Defense Force (YPPDF).

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 4. A Former Revolutionary Fighter Who Defected to the Pyu Saw Htee Found Dead with Gunshot Wounds

In Kale, Sagaing Region, a former revolutionary fighter who had fled with weapons and later joined the Pyu Saw Htee under the military junta was found dead with gunshot wounds to the abdomen inside the compound of Mingalar Garden Monastery at around 8 PM on March 21, according to local reports.

The deceased, identified as Zin Ko Oo (a.k.a Kyaw Gyi), did not die by suicide, as no gunshot wounds were found on his mouth. Instead, he sustained two gunshot wounds to the stomach. The military forces immediately sealed off the monastery premises, preventing anyone from entering, and buried the body in Kale’s outskirts overnight without handing it over to his family.

Some sources suggest that he was executed by another Pyu Saw Htee member within the compound where they were stationed.

Kyaw Gyi (a.k.a Zin Ko Oo), who was in his early twenties, defected to the military junta in 2023 with funds raised for the People's Defense Force (Kale) and a firearm. He subsequently joined the Pyu Saw Htee and remained an active member.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 5. Two Pyu Saw Htee Members Captured During a Surprise Checkpoint on the Bagan-Nyaung U Road

Bagan Bo Cho PDF reported that two Pyu Saw Htee members were captured along with evidence during a surprise checkpoint inspection conducted by allied revolutionary forces on a section of the Bagan-Nyaung U road.

On the morning of March 23, around 10 AM, Bagan Bo Cho PDF and its allies carried out a sudden checkpoint inspection. During this operation, Pyu Saw Htee members Zaw Myint from Htan Ta Pin village and Aung Soe Win from Su Phot Kone village were arrested with documents proving their affiliation.

Upon interrogation, the two individuals admitted that they had transported 50,000 rounds of ammunition from Ka Pa Sa-21 to Infantry Battalion 101 in Pakokku under the supervision of Kyaw Myo Lin.

When they attempted to resist arrest and escape, they were shot and killed.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 6. Naypyidaw PDF Deputy Battalion Commander Killed in Battle in Moe Bye

During clashes in Moe Bye, Taunggyi District, southern Shan State, a deputy battalion commander from Naypyidaw People's Defense Force (PDF) Battalion 805, under Task Force Tanintharyi, was killed in action.

On March 22, the Naypyidaw PDF's Deputy Battalion Commander, Comrade Nga The Ha, was killed while engaging the military junta in the Moe Bye battle.

Comrade Nga The Ha had served for over two and a half years after completing Basic Military Training (Batch 2) under Battalion 805. He was known for his exceptional dedication and courage. The revolutionary forces extended condolences to his family, honoring his sacrifice.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 7. One Civilian Killed, Over Seven Injured in Junta’s Terror Attacks in Oattwin Township

The No. 2 Battalion of Taungoo District reported that a civilian was killed and over seven others were injured due to the military junta’s violent attacks on a village in Oattwin Township, Taungoo District, Bago Region.

Between March 22 and 23, despite no ongoing battles, the junta forces launched indiscriminate attacks using heavy artillery, drones, and incendiary bombs, resulting in civilian casualties and destruction of homes.

A total of seven houses were damaged, and more than seven civilians were injured, in addition to one fatality.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 8. No. 3 Logistics Battalion Commander Accused of Withholding Salaries and Forcing Soldiers into Battle

Three defecting soldiers revealed that Lt. Col. Myint Htwe, the commander of the No. 3 Logistics Battalion, forced soldiers into battle in Bhamo without providing operational funds or salaries.

On March 24, the Burmese military released a video interview featuring three defecting sergeants—Zaw Min Naing, Aung Aung, and Than Zaw—who disclosed that frontline soldiers were only given 1,200 MMK per day for operational expenses. Although they were supposed to receive 120,000 MMK while stationed at frontline outposts, the battalion commanders allegedly embezzled these funds.

The defectors also stated that Lt. Col. Myint Htwe had never been seen at the frontlines, and their immediate superior, Maj. Htein Lin Oo, was self-serving and indifferent to the welfare of lower-ranking soldiers.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 9. Junta Soldier from Moe Bye Kha Ma Ya (508) Defects with Weapons

A junta soldier from the Moe Bye-based Kha Ma Ya (508) Battalion defected with weapons, according to an announcement by the No. 1001 Battalion of the Moe Bye People's Defense Force (PDF).

On March 23, amid heavy clashes in Moe Bye, a junta soldier who had been forcibly conscripted fled with an MA-1 rifle, five magazines, three Inaga grenades, three hand grenades, and additional ammunition. He surrendered to the Moe Bye PDF's Lynx Unit.

The defector confirmed that the junta suffered heavy casualties in the ongoing battles in Moe Bye.

The soldier was provided with financial assistance and transferred to a secure location. The Moe Bye PDF reiterated its willingness to accept defecting junta soldiers and called for additional logistical support from revolutionary forces due to the intense battle conditions in the region.
