๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 1. Expanding Territorial Control and Unwavering Leadership in the Revolution, Says Acting President

The territories under revolutionary control have expanded to the extent that even a three-to-five-day journey on the ground is not enough to traverse them, said Acting President Duwa Lashi La. He emphasized that leaders in the revolution, which the people have invested their lives and futures in, cannot afford to waver or hesitate.

During the National Unity Government's (NUG) 9/2025 Cabinet Meeting held on March 26, the Acting President discussed the current state of territorial control by revolutionary forces across Myanmar.

"As our revolutionary alliance with ethnic armed organizations strengthens, so too will their confidence in the NUG. At present, our ability to maneuver on the ground has expanded significantly—so much so that even a three-to-five-day journey would not cover the extent of our controlled territories. On the ground, our defensive capabilities have improved to the point where the enemy struggles to make advances.

We must not forget that the core strength of the revolution lies within the country itself. In an armed revolution, building tangible power on the ground is a fundamental necessity. Establishing a solid foundation of public trust in real-world operations is at the heart of the revolution," he said.

The Acting President further stressed, "Leaders in this revolution—where people have invested their lives and futures—must not falter or hesitate. We must be resilient, endure hardships, and steel both our minds and bodies for the struggle. Bringing down a military dictatorship that has been entrenched for over 70 years cannot be achieved through sheer determination or mere effort alone. It requires profound dedication and unwavering commitment."

He also acknowledged and commended the Defense Minister and other cabinet members for spending prolonged periods on the ground, leading alongside the people.

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 4. Revolutionary Thingyan and Fundraising Market to Be Held in New York

The Revolutionary Thingyan and Fundraising Market will be held in New York City as part of ongoing support efforts for Myanmar’s resistance movement, according to an announcement by NYCBC.

"Thingyan is traditionally a time of joy and celebration, but for Myanmar, it has been four years of blood, sweat, and tears. While those inside the country continue to endure and fight, our brothers and sisters abroad are also standing in solidarity, carrying their share of the burden.

In New York, we will hold a Revolutionary Thingyan and Fundraising Market, not as a festival of mere enjoyment, but as a show of support for the struggle. The event will take place on April 26 at St. James Church in Elmhurst," the announcement stated.

Vendors, volunteers, and supporters are invited to participate. The event will feature traditional Myanmar food, snacks, jewelry, souvenirs, and resistance-themed T-shirts and bags for sale.
