🚩🚩 6. KNA Issues Renewed Warning for Civilians to Exercise Caution as Fighting Intensifies Near Deemawso

September 3

The Karenni Nationalities Army (KNA) issued another warning today, September 3, urging civilians to exercise extreme caution in travel around Deemawso Township, Karenni State, as fierce clashes continue between terrorist junta forces and revolutionary joint forces.

Although the KNA had already issued a statement on September 1 urging civilians to heed warnings from revolutionary groups due to the junta’s large-scale offensives against stronghold areas of resistance, it reiterated the warning today because of escalating clashes.

The KNA stressed that if civilians must travel in conflict zones for urgent reasons, they should coordinate and seek assistance from nearby revolutionary organizations to ensure safety.

On the morning of August 30, junta troops shot and killed a civilian riding a motorcycle along the Nanmekhon–Daungkhar road, which further prompted the KNA to issue such repeated warnings for public safety.
