🚩🚩 1. Two Soldiers Killed in Attack on Military Vehicle in Monywa, Sagaing Region

At around 12:00 noon on October 27, revolutionary forces attacked a military vehicle patrolling in Monywa City, resulting in an exchange of gunfire in which two junta soldiers were killed, according to a statement released by Monywa District Battalion 4.

The statement said the clash occurred when revolutionary forces encountered the patrolling vehicle en route to a mission in Monywa.

The operation was jointly carried out by Monywa District People’s Defense Force Battalion 4 – Monywa The Boys, Monywa District People’s Defense Force Battalion 4, Company 2 – 5/Commando Force, and Monywa District Battalion 28, Company 3 – Spring Dove.

No casualties were reported among the revolutionary fighters, and they were able to withdraw safely after the mission.

🚩🚩 2. Two Junta Soldiers from Taungtha Camp Killed in PLA Attack

In Taungtha Township, Myingyan District, Mandalay Region, two junta soldiers from the Taungtha Military Commission camp were attacked and killed by the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), according to a statement released by the group.

The attack took place in the evening of October 27, when two junta soldiers left their camp and were ambushed by PLA-Myingyan District troops.

Both junta soldiers were killed in the operation, and the resistance forces seized one G3 rifle and several rounds of ammunition, according to the report.

🚩🚩 3. Four Police Officers Killed and Weapons Seized in Min Htone Township Attack

At around 12:50 p.m. on October 28, Battalion 4, Company 2 under Thayet District Command attacked a police convoy traveling between Me Zali Village and Wun Twin Village along the Pathein–Monywa Road in Min Htone Township.

The revolutionary forces ambushed four police trucks, led by a police commander, that were heading from Min Htone toward Wun Twin. One truck hit a landmine and was damaged. The remaining trucks attempted to flee, but the resistance continued firing and neutralized the damaged vehicle.

As a result, four police officers were killed, and the resistance forces seized 78 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, 24 G3 rounds, 17 carbine rounds, some military supplies, and MMK 300,000 in cash. The ambushed police vehicle was then set on fire and destroyed.

Following the attack, junta forces at a military checkpoint about five miles from Min Htone indiscriminately fired heavy artillery, prompting warnings for local civilians and travelers to remain alert and cautious.

🚩🚩 4. Junta Forces Burn Down 114 Civilian Homes in KNU-Kawthoolei Controlled Areas

According to the Karen National Union (KNU) Headquarters, junta troops under the terrorist military regime invaded areas under Kawthoolei Administrative Zone, including Khalay Lwi Htoo District and Myeik–Dawei Districts, and burned down 114 civilian homes without provocation.

In Tharyar Chaung area, K’sel Doe Township, Myeik–Dawei District, junta forces from Battalions 403, 404, and 405 launched an assault on October 25 and burned 42 civilian homes in Labae Village, which had no connection to any armed conflict.

Similarly, on October 10, junta troops entered Kwin Da Lar Gyi Village in Moo Township, Khalay Lwi Htoo District, and set fire to 72 homes belonging to civilians, destroying them completely.

These acts of arson are part of the junta’s ongoing campaign of terror and collective punishment against civilians in ethnic-controlled regions.

🚩🚩 5. Three Junta Soldiers Defect with Weapons in Monywa and Hakha

According to separate statements, three junta soldiers defected with their weapons in Monywa Township, Sagaing Region, and Hakha Township, Chin State.

On September 27, two junta soldiers stationed at the Military Commission Camp located at the Shwe Guni Pagoda compound in Kyaukkar Village, Monywa Township, defected to the Titans Force Monywa No. (2) Pa Ka Pha (PDF) Combat Unit.

The two defectors, who were forcibly conscripted, brought along one MA-3 rifle and one MA-1 rifle. The resistance force stated that since the two had no involvement in any war crimes, arrangements would be made according to their own wishes.

Similarly, on the same day, September 27, a junta soldier from Hakha Township defected and contacted the Senthang Revolution Force (SRF).

The soldier arrived with one MA-1 rifle, three magazines, and a small quantity of ammunition. The SRF welcomed him by presenting a cash reward and valuable gifts in recognition of his decision to defect from the junta’s ranks.

🚩🚩 6. Yangon Underground Forces Announce Social Punishment for Artists Spreading Junta Propaganda

Yangon-based revolutionary underground forces (Yangon UG) have jointly announced that they will take strong action under public justice against artists and celebrities who are spreading propaganda in support of the junta’s sham election, insulting revolutionary youth, and promoting the military’s narrative.

The joint statement, released on October 28 by Yangon Army (YA), Dark Shadow, Operation Flame (OF), Mother Son Yangon Force, and Broken System, identified and condemned the following individuals as pro-junta propagandists:
Nay Toe, Myint Myat, Nay Win, Aye Chan Maung, Chue Lay, May Myint Mo, Aung Khine, Nghet Pyaw Kyo, Aung Toe, Naing Linn, Thwet Lat, Super Lin, Min Nyo, Ukka Pyar Ree, Ye Yint, Yaw Pyaw, and Aung Zay Phyo.

The statement accused these artists of supporting the military council responsible for war crimes, undermining the people’s revolution, and mocking the youth who are sacrificing for freedom.

It further urged the public to impose strict boycotts and social punishment against them nationwide, emphasizing that any form of support for the junta’s propaganda is complicity in oppression and injustice.

🚩🚩 7. CDF–Hakha Imposes Nighttime Curfew in Hakha Amid Junta Reinforcement and Election Attempts

The Chinland Defense Force–Hakha (CDF–Hakha) has imposed a nighttime curfew in Hakha Township, Chin State, in response to the junta’s attempts to hold an election and ongoing troop reinforcements in the area.

The order, issued on October 28, restricts all movement from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. daily between October 29, 2025, and January 31, 2026.

CDF–Hakha warned that anyone who violates the curfew will face firm disciplinary action, and that the organization will bear no responsibility for any injuries or deaths resulting from such violations.

The statement explained that the junta continues daily air and artillery attacks, causing widespread civilian deaths and property losses. It also noted that the regime has been conducting night raids and arbitrary arrests under the pretext of election preparations, while airplanes and helicopters are being used to reinforce troops in Hakha and across Chin State.

CDF–Hakha urged all residents to remain calm, vigilant, and cooperative in maintaining community safety during this critical period.
