In the letter, the Dr. Sasa states, “I would like to pay my deepest respect to the people of Myanmar who are waging the revolution instead of celebrating the lights festival of Tazaungdaing happily on the occasion of the full moon of Taungmone, and I pray for them to be healthy in the place where they are.”

In addition, the Union Minister also said that he wished everyone to unite and strive to achieve victory together so that free and happy festivals can be held in the federal union of Myanmar in the future.

=========================================================

Union Minster Dr. Zaw Wai Soe added the following during his talk at the public conversation discussing CDM activities and CDM policy on November 7.

“Policy regarding CDM and non-CDM is critical. But the actual decision must be made by the officials on the ground. Is he a member of CDM? When did he join it? From which school? Only those on the ground will know. Similarly for non-CDMs. Since when has he been non-CDM? Is he really cooperating with the military council? Relevant schools, hospitals, and federal units will have to decide on these.”

Since the military coup on February 1, 2021, the majority of education and healthcare workers have participated in the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) activities.

The National League for Democracy (NLD) said that it will not recognize the sham election planned to be held by the military junta

=========================================================

The National League for Democracy (NLD) issued a press release on November 8 stating that the NLD will not recognize the sham election planned to be held by the military junta.

The press states, “If there is any doubt about the actions during the general elections and the results of the elections, there are processes that must be resolved in accordance with the Union Election Commission law, but the coup military council forcibly seized the power of the people under the pretext of the so-called ‘voter list fraud’. By targeting and attacking the party that won the elections, it is systematically destroying the entire democratic process. In addition, it is found that the military council is planning to hold a sham election in the hope of legitimizing their illegal coup and receiving international recognition. So, the National League for Democracy (NLD) will not accept it at all, and all the ethnic people have also already expressed in various ways that they will not accept and recognize the sham election as the Houses of Parliament, which are composed of the representatives that they have elected freely and democratically, are officially in existence.”

The U.S. Embassy in Myanmar releases the Press Statement of the U.S. Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken

Antony J. Blinken, the U.S. Secretary of State, said that the purpose of the military regime’s scorched-earth campaign is to reimpose authoritarianism on people.

The U.S. Embassy in Myanmar releases the Press Statement of the U.S. Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken dated November 7.

In the statement, Blinken said, “In recent months, the regime has escalated its violence by executing pro-democracy activists and attacking and killing society’s most vulnerable people – schoolteachers, young children, cultural leaders, and other innocent civilians. The regime’s scorched-earth campaign aims to reimpose an authoritarian system on people who are committed to charting a democratic future for their nation.”

The U.S. Secretary of State also pointed out that since the coup, the military has committed brutal acts of terrorism against the people of Myanmar, killing over 2,400 people and arresting over 16,000 people, including President U Win Myint and State Counselor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.

He also urges the international community to deny the military and its so-called “elections” credibility and instead meaningfully engage with pro-democracy leaders who are eager to realize a prosperous and inclusive Myanmar.

=========================================================

In November, Dr. Tayzar San, a doctor-activist and a leader of the Mandalay strike, said this about the spring revolution.

“This revolution will surely win. The terrorist regime is no longer capable of stopping and defeating the people’s revolution, both physically and mentally. This is a match that we will definitely win. I dare to say emphatically and boldly that our people are completely determined and ready to pay whatever price, in whatever form, for the success of the revolution.”

During the one-year period of the People’s Revolution, over 20,000 members of the terrorist military were killed, and the areas came under the control of revolutionary forces.

Pigeon Loan Myanmar and other applications claiming to get loans easily, obtaining personal information, and making fraudulent requests for money

=========================================================

According to inquiries by Radio NUG in November, there have been fraudulent requests for money by obtaining personal information from Pigeon Loan Myanmar and other applications claiming to get loans easily.

“I didn’t borrow money from them and they contacted me on the phone and said that I borrowed money from them. They threatened to pay me back. When I checked carefully, the person who ordered the item using my phone number made a mistake. The loan business called Pigeon Loan came to ask for this. I don’t know where they got my personal information,” said a citizen.

No confirmation can be made as to whether Pigeon Loan Myanmar is legally registered or not, but its social network page has also written threatening messages to those who cannot repay the loan.

“When the economy is tough, people are looking for easy loans. That’s why they are asking for the money back without knowing where those businesses get their personal information. Even if the business has a registration, it is not to be trusted as an online business, so I want people to be careful,” a young man in his 30s who runs a small business in Yangon said.

After the military coup, there have been an increasing number of investment scams that are defrauding thousands of millions.
