📌📌 1. The Defense Minister urges the People’s Defense Comrades to try and build up their ability to obey orders
On January 27, Defense Minister U Yee Mon sent a message to the training completion ceremony of the Shan State Northern Alliance Battalion (N.S.S.A. A)’s basic military education course (batch 2).
“As we fight for a justifiable resistance war, we must do our best with the least amount of damage. The most important thing is that leaders in charge of the battles must show exemplary leadership and strive to build mutual respect, trust, and obedience to orders,” the Minister stated. There are currently nearly 300 People’s Defense Battalions and Forces, over 250 township PDF groups, and numerous urban youth guerrillas and Local Defense Youth Forces (LDF).

📌📌 2. Gems mining permissions are only given to those related to successive dictators
On January 30, U Tin Tun Naing, Union Minister of Planning, Finance and Investment, described on social media as follows:
“Only those related to successive dictators and those who purchased the mining rights with money are permitted to mine for gems. The country was ranked as the poorest, but a bunch of military generals and their associates’ owned tens of millions of dollars. These false systems must be changed along with the Spring Revolution. Under the future federal government, gem mining production must be manufactured in accordance with rules.”
The National Unity Government will sell the Mogok Ruby Land’s gem mining rights, which is the debut of the Early Partnership Program. According to the EOD’s announcement on January 30, a total of 45 blocks of the Mogok Ruby ground mining rights, the debut of the Early Partnership Program, will be sold at a minimum price of USD 235,200 per block.
“This time, the sales of Gems mining rights in the Mogok Ruby Land will be introduced to revolutionary people. Only 45 blocks will be sold in total. A block’s value is set at a minimum of USD 235,200 and a maximum of USD 2,822,400,” it stated. The important facts in EPP’s Mogok Project are that the entrepreneur’s ownership is set at 49%, and the federal government, which represents the general public, owns 51%. It is known that the authorization period is set at 10 years to allow for systematic processing and production, with 40% of the specified value must be paid during the revolution and the remaining 60% paid afterwards.

It has been reported that the National Unity Government’s Home Affairs and Immigration Ministry held a (2/2023) meeting on January 30 with Public Administration Groups in Ayeyarwady, Tanintharyi, Bago, Magway, and Sagaing regions.
At the meeting, the permanent secretary of the Home Affairs and Immigration Ministry stated that since the revolution began two years ago, efforts have been made to root out the terrorist military council, and that Public Administrative Groups should work hard to carry out administrative activities as each area might have different situations. In addition, the permanent secretary added that he would like Public Administration Groups to discuss their regional experiences and that the time of the end of the revolution would be determined based on their cooperation.
Following that, an official from the Home Affairs and Immigration Ministry clarified the news and information work manual and the issues to be included in the report, and the attendees from the township public administration explained the policies and guidelines, the ground administration operations, and the difficulties they encountered on the ground. 📌📌 6. Over 20 junta forces killed in two days of firing at police outpost in Tabayin township
Over 20 junta forces were killed in two days of firing and attacking a police outpost, including the column responsible for an arson attack in the Tabayin area. The Shwebo District’s Battalion 19 reported the military news on January 30.

According to information that some forces from Saingpyingyi police station were hiding around the city on the evening of January 27, the Deputy Commander of the 2nd Division, led by the Deputy Company Commander, omitted the cemetery outpost and the Thayetkaung road outpost and opened fire at the Central gate from 8:45 to 9:32, killing two and injuring nine.

📌📌 7. Black Eagle Defense Force launched a drone attack on junta forces at Monywa – Mandalay Road
On January 30, Black Eagle Defense Force – MMU Drone confirmed that six soldiers were killed in a drone attack on a military council unit stationed near the Myaung intersection of the Monywa – Mandalay Road in Myinmu township for two consecutive days.
“On January 28, a drone attack was launched twice on a military council unit stationed near the Monywa – Mandalay Road in Myinmu township, near the Myaung intersection, killing four junta forces and injuring two others.
