๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 1. Distribution of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s 80th Birthday Commemorative Calendars Begins Through International Representatives

It has been reported that commemorative calendars marking the 80th birthday of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi are now being sent out to international distribution representatives.

Regarding this initiative, Ko Ye—representing the UK—told Radio NUG the following:

“The calendars have already reached the representatives in Singapore, and we have seen them posted on their social media platforms.”

In addition, following the devastating earthquake that struck Sagaing on March 28, Ko Htein Lin (also known as Kim Aris), Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s younger son, has been actively providing timely assistance through his organization Aid2Burma, prioritizing support for ongoing humanitarian relief operations.

During his visit to the United States as part of a campaign to advocate for his mother and other political prisoners in Myanmar, Kim Aris also worked to raise emergency disaster relief funds for the victims of the earthquake in Myanmar.

Ko Htein Lin declared that he would continue his efforts to advocate for the release of the people of Myanmar, including his mother Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and other political prisoners.

“While I was in the San Francisco Bay Area, I had the opportunity to speak with KQED about the recent earthquake and the military’s ongoing atrocities against civilians. I emphasized the urgent humanitarian needs in Myanmar.

I also expressed my deep concern for my mother Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, who is being held in solitary confinement without access to medical treatment or communication with the outside world.

Although I am not a politician, I will continue to advocate for my mother, for all political prisoners, and for the freedom of the people of Myanmar,” said Ko Htein Lin.

At present, he is actively raising funds to support the earthquake survivors and displaced civilians in Myanmar.

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 3. Registration Form for Health CDM Staff Affected by the Earthquake to Remain Open Until End of April

It has been announced that the registration form for health sector Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) participants who were affected by the earthquake will remain open until the end of April.

The CDM Medical Network created and published the form to collect information from those injured or otherwise impacted by the quake. The network urges all affected health CDM members who have not yet registered to complete the form while it remains open.

The CDM Medical Network also issued a formal statement expressing deep condolences for all health CDM personnel who lost their lives in the earthquake.

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 4. Earthquake Relief: 46 Victims in Singu Township Receive Financial Support

Following the March 28, 2025 earthquake, which severely impacted the Myittha and Singu Townships of Pyin Oo Lwin District, many civilians were killed or injured.

In response, the Pyin Oo Lwin District People's Defense Force (Pa Ka Pha) coordinated earthquake relief efforts without relying on donations, combining resources and efforts with the Singu Township Pa Ka Pha to deliver direct support to affected individuals.

The assistance focused on victims within Singu Township, where 36 civilians were killed and 10 others seriously injured. Each of the 46 victims received 400,000 MMK in support.

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 5. USD 275 Million Required to Assist 1.1 Million People in Earthquake-Affected Areas

Following the powerful earthquake that struck Myanmar, an addendum to the 2025 Humanitarian Needs and Response Plan has been drafted to address the emergency needs arising from the disaster.
According to UNOCHA Myanmar, approximately USD 275 million is required to deliver assistance to 1.1 million people living in the most severely affected areas.

In March 2025, the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management under the National Unity Government (NUG) disbursed a total of MMK 559.9 million to people in urgent need of humanitarian aid. Of this, MMK 25.3 million was allocated specifically for those affected by natural disasters.

It has been reported that financial support was provided to a total of 46 civilians in Singu Township who were either killed or seriously injured by the recent earthquake—MMK 400,000 per person.

The earthquake that occurred on March 28, 2025, caused significant casualties and injuries in both Madayar Township and Singu Township, located in Pyin Oo Lwin District.

In response, the Pyin Oo Lwin District People's Defense Force (Pa Ka Pha) collaborated with the Singu Township Pa Ka Pha, utilizing public donations to provide aid to the families of the deceased and injured victims.

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 7. NUG's Ministry of Planning, Finance and Investment Projects to Be Featured at "Nway Oo Thingyan" in Tokyo, Japan, Including EOD Shares Sale

The National Unity Government (NUG)'s Ministry of Planning, Finance and Investment will showcase its projects at the upcoming "Nway Oo Thingyan" (Spring Thingyan) festival in Tokyo, Japan, where EOD shares will also be on sale.

The event, which will be held from April 12 to 13, will include promotional activities for land plots, condominiums, apartments, and shares sold by EOD (End of Dictatorship). Attendees will also be able to open Spring Development Bank accounts, make deposits, and purchase Spring Lottery tickets.

In addition, representative agents will be present to support attendees who wish to join the People’s Defense Support Task Force.

The booth will be located near Entrance 1, between the Thanakha Corner stalls. The NUG Support Team Japan has invited the public to come and participate in the event.

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 8. Fifteen Civilians, Including Seven Children, Killed Nationwide by Military Junta Between April 1–11

Between April 1 and 11, 2025, a total of 15 civilianssix women and nine men—were confirmed dead as a result of the military junta's violent operations across the country, according to verified information collected by the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP). Among the victims were seven children under the age of 18.

The majority—13 of the 15—were killed by airstrikes conducted by the military regime.

Chin State recorded the highest number of deaths during this period, with six civilians killed. In addition to the confirmed fatalities, reports indicate that the names and details of 47 more civilians who died during the same timeframe are still being verified and compiled.
