The People’s Defense Force (PDF) under the Naypyitaw Regional Military Command has successfully held the graduation ceremony for its Refresher Training Course No. (1/2025) conducted by Battalion 808.
The graduation ceremony, which took place in June, was attended by 60 trainees and was held at a secure location within their controlled territory.
The event was attended by the Naypyitaw Regional Military Command Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Baw Lai Ya, as well as officers and unit leaders from Battalion 808.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Nine Killed Including Eight Company Commanders in Ambush on Military Convoy Carrying Officers Graduated from Tactical Training School in Than Taung Gyi

According to a statement released today by People’s Defense Force – Thandaung, a military convoy carrying graduates from a tactical combat training school in Bawring Nyo Military Town, Than Taung Gyi Township, Karen State, was ambushed, resulting in the deaths of nine personnel, including eight company-level officers.
The attack occurred at around 5:30 p.m. on June 7 near a hill adjacent to the military base at the 7-mile mark along the Taungoo–Than Taung Road, targeting a military vehicle convoy from the Tatmadaw's Tactical Training School in Bawring Nyo that included recently graduated company commanders.
The attack killed eight captains and one military driver, with four others wounded, according to the report.
Additionally, it was noted that on May 27, resistance forces also launched an assault on the junta’s Thone Bo Gyi military base along the Taungoo–Leiktho Road in Karen State. While the junta side suffered casualties, exact details on losses could not be confirmed at the time of reporting.
The operations were jointly carried out by allied forces led by People’s Defense Force – Thandaung MLB under Brigade 2 of Taungoo District Command.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Drone Strikes on Junta Bases and Checkpoints in Ye-U Township for Three Consecutive Days Result in Two Soldiers Killed

According to Ye-U Freedom Comrades (YFC), the terrorist junta’s stationed bases and military checkpoints in Ye-U Township, Sagaing Region, were targeted by drone strikes for three consecutive days, leading to the deaths of two soldiers.
On June 6, at around 10:30 a.m., 32 junta soldiers stationed at the Kyarphoo Roundabout Checkpoint on the southern outskirts of Ye-U were attacked using a fixed-wing drone that dropped three bombs. At around 6:20 p.m. the same day, the same location and the nearby township hospital were hit again with two drone-dropped bombs.
On the morning of June 7, resistance forces carried out another drone attack on around 35 junta troops stationed at the Gawwi Park military checkpoint west of Ye-U Town, using three bombs.
On the morning of June 8, the junta troops who were holding a military meeting at the Ma Gyi Taw Monastic School were also attacked with two drone-dropped bombs.
Across these three consecutive days of drone strikes, two junta soldiers were confirmed killed and several others wounded. Although the junta responded by firing four rounds of heavy artillery, no casualties were reported on the resistance side.
The drone operations were jointly carried out by Ye-U Freedom Comrades – YFC, Wan Pulae Force, and the 5/Mahura Kywel Yine People’s Defense Group – Ye-U Township, all operating under the Shwebo District People’s Defense drone units.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. Seven Civilians Rescued from Use as Human Shields in Battle near Sintae-Wa Stream; One Junta Soldier Captured

The People's Defense Forces (PDF) announced that seven civilians who were being used as human shields by junta forces during a battle near Sintae-Wa Stream in Taungtha Township were successfully rescued, and one junta soldier was captured along with weapons and ammunition.
The engagement reportedly occurred after revolutionary fighters received intelligence that a junta column, led by Major Wannathe and including Pyusawhti militia units, was traveling through Hnangone Village to link up with another military column in Taungtha.
As a result, PDF fighters launched an ambush on the morning of June 12. The ensuing clash took place on the western bank of Sintae-Wa Stream, west of Taungtha Town.
During the clash, junta troops forced seven civilian men to walk ahead of them as human shields. However, the resistance fighters were able to rescue all seven civilians unharmed.
Following the rescue, fighting resumed, and three junta soldiers were reportedly killed. Kyaw Naing Win, a member of Logistics Battalion No. 928 (TOTPA-928), was captured alive, while the remaining soldiers fled.
Weapons and military equipment seized from the junta forces included one G4 rifle, one MA-3 rifle, 10 RPG rounds, three magazines, 118 bullets, one drone jammer, and various other military supplies. No casualties were reported on the side of the resistance fighters.
The PDF stated that this operation against the junta's use of civilians as human shields was jointly carried out by Taungtha Township People's Defense Forces and allied revolutionary groups.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 5. At Least Three Junta Soldiers Killed in Allied Attack on Advancing Military Column in Yebyu Township

In Yebyu Township, Dawei District, Tanintharyi Region, at least three junta soldiers were killed during a coordinated attack by allied forces on a military column advancing toward Eikani Village, according to a statement from the Yebyu Township Allied Forces.
The confrontation was part of two days of intense fighting between May 29 and May 30, involving the junta troops and the local allied resistance forces in Yebyu.
Due to significant casualties among junta troops during the clash, the remaining soldiers reportedly retreated from the battlefield.
The coordinated attack was carried out by the following allied units:
- Yebyu Township People's Defense Force (Yebyu PaKaPha)
- Battalion No. 1 (T1) under Dawei District command
- Than Daung Revolutionary Task Force of the Dawei People's Liberation Front (TPLF)
- Dawna Column – Unit 6 (WeHin) and Unit 7 (LPF)
- Naga Nyi Stealth Tiger Guerrilla Force
- Shwe Bilone Group
The Yebyu Township Allied Forces emphasized that their strong and united resistance will continue to dismantle junta forces in the region. They urged all junta-affiliated soldiers to defect and join the public before it's too late.
