๐ฉ๐ฉ 8. Junta Destroys “Musoe Ma Village” Restaurant in Mandalay

On the morning of December 30, a restaurant in Mandalay called “Musoe Ma Village,” which had opened just the day before on December 29, was reportedly destroyed by the military junta, according to local news sources.
Municipal workers and junta soldiers arrived in a military vehicle, dismantled signboards, and destroyed the interior items of the restaurant following an inspection.

Some pro-military lobbyists claimed the closure was voluntary and attributed it to licensing issues, asserting that the business was in the process of obtaining necessary permits.
On the restaurant’s social media page, the owners explained that the name “Musoe Ma Village” was chosen because the staff were widows who had lost their husbands and wanted to honor their memory through the business.
