๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 5. Strategic Readiness in Ayeyarwady Region: Revolutionary Forces Mobilized

January 24

According to a PDF Insight analysis in January, a strategic plan has been established in the Ayeyarwady Region, with revolutionary forces now mobilized across both banks of the Sittoung River, extending up to the western regions of Bago.

The report highlights that the current conditions are laying the groundwork for significant changes. With Rakhine State nearing full control and the military shifting its focus toward Magway, Bago, and Ayeyarwady, revolutionary activities have intensified. In Kachin, the capture of Mansi Town and the near-collapse of Bhamo signify strategic gains for resistance forces.

In central Myanmar, Mandalay PDF has established a brigade, and BPLA is mobilizing additional forces. Resistance battalions in Shwebo, Myingyan, and Myittha are reportedly better equipped and prepared for counterattacks.

The Ayeyarwady region has completed a strategic framework, with forces ready on both the eastern and western banks of the Sittoung River and up to the western regions of Bago. This development aligns with the NUG Interim President’s call for nationwide revolutionary mobilization.
