๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 1. Investigation Launched into Conflict Between AFCC-Mdy Member and MDY-PDF Members, Efforts Underway to Resolve Legally

The Anti-Dictatorship People’s Force Coordination Committee (Mandalay) reported that an investigation has been launched into the conflict between an AFCC-Mdy member and members of the MDY-PDF. Efforts are underway to resolve the issue through legal means. The conflict occurred on February 6 at around 8 PM in the Mandalay region’s revolutionary-controlled area, where a clash took place between MDY-PDF troops tasked with security and judicial governance and local station commanders.

Following the incident, both MDY-PDF, the local emergency administrative committee, and AFCC-Mdy worked together to resolve the issue through legal channels. On February 9, a meeting took place where an investigative team was formed to ensure justice. MDY-PDF took immediate action, investigating the soldiers involved in the conflict and ensuring proper procedures were followed, with an apology offered to the injured parties. AFCC-Mdy leaders also addressed the situation without delay.

MDY-PDF has committed to preventing any future unlawful actions, emphasizing respect for military conduct and a firm stance against injustices, both toward civilians and among allied forces.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 2. Coordinated Attack on Kan Kyi Kone Village with Siege Operations

In Kan Kyi Kone village, located in the Mon State, Mongyawng District, a coordinated attack was launched by Special Guerrilla Forces (SGF) with involvement from the MDY-PDF. The operation began on February 10 at 9:48 AM and continued until 4 PM, at which point the forces safely withdrew. Details on casualties from the enemy side remain unclear.

The attack was carried out in collaboration by SGF, Battalion 12, and other units. During the battle, a large drone from Battalion 12 was reportedly damaged. Civilians have been urged to provide assistance in maintaining peace in the area.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 3. Military Forces in Paung Township Set Fire to Villages and Kill a Civilian

Since February, soldiers from the violent military junta have entered villages in Paung Township, Mying Township, and other surrounding areas, burning homes and killing civilians. In Ma Kyi Sin village, a civilian named Ko Win Soe was killed by fire set by military forces, and many homes were destroyed. This was reported by the MGS People’s Defense Forces.

As a result of the ongoing violence, many civilians have fled the area, seeking refuge from the attacks. The military junta’s operations have now shifted, with forces withdrawing from Paung Township, Koko Su, and Pyu Soe, but continuing to carry out heavy artillery shelling in the surrounding regions.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 4. Assisted and Properly Cared for Elderly and Vulnerable Civilians Evacuated from Ti Ti Taw Village

The Voluntary Defense Force of Bo Kyar Yain reported that on February 8 and 9, they helped evacuate seven elderly and vulnerable civilians from Ti Ti Taw village in Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region. The civilians were identified as U Kye Zun (67), Daw Wain (72), U Win (67), Ko Ngain (42), Ko Hla Min (38), Daw Nway (82), and Daw Tin Ei (90).

The villagers had been subsisting on beans for approximately 20 days, as they were unable to access rice due to ongoing dangers in the area. As a result of the extreme hardship, they had to leave the village. The Bo Kyar Yain People’s Defense Force and the Bo Kyaw Gyi People’s Defense Force successfully evacuated the civilians and ensured they were well cared for.

The evacuees stated that they had been living under severe distress, and the People’s Defense Force is making arrangements to assist others who wish to leave. Additionally, they announced that they would assist anyone who wishes to leave, including armed forces members, and provide a reward for returning with weapons.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 5. Senior Military Officer Defects from the Military Junta's Iron Fist Unit and Joins the People’s Defense Force

A senior officer from the military junta’s Iron Fist Unit in the Yay Oo Township, Sagaing Region, defected and joined the People’s Defense Force, as announced by the Yay Oo People’s Defense Force (PDF).

It was reported that Major Aung Htein Htet of the Iron Fist Unit, based in Yangon’s Hleekku Township (at Iron Fist Base No. 74), defected, but the exact date of the defection has not been disclosed. Since the military coup, it is believed that at least eight members of the military junta’s forces, including this officer, have defected and joined the People’s Defense Forces.

Additionally, on February 10, around 12:25 PM, three drones, operated by the Yay Oo People’s Defense Force’s drone unit, launched an attack on a meeting of military junta forces and Pyu Soe militia members inside the Yay Oo Township administration office. Investigations into the attack are ongoing.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 6. Four New Military Personnel Defect with Weapons and Join the People's Defense Force at Point-3 Base Between Hakka and Tan Ta Lan

On February 5, four new military personnel from the junta, stationed at Point-3 base between Hakka and Tan Ta Lan in Chin State, defected with three pistols and ammunition and joined the People’s Defense Force. The Chin National Army (CNA) made this announcement on February 8.

These defectors were recognized for their contribution, with the Chin National Army awarding them a 50,000 kyat cash prize for their defection and action.
