February 22

The People's Defense Force (Pa Ka Pha) of Bote Pyin Township has issued a stern warning to junta-appointed administrators who are actively participating in and facilitating forced military conscription.

The Military Council has mandated that all men and women above the age of 18 must serve in the military, and local administrators—including village and ward heads—have been assisting in the junta's efforts to enforce this conscription law. According to local sources, these administrators have been involved in tracking and detaining civilians for forced recruitment.

The Pa Ka Pha of Bote Pyin Township has warned that any individual, whether directly involved or assisting in any form, including administrators, ward and village heads, informants, and those cooperating with the junta, will be designated as military targets and held accountable through decisive action.
