๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 1. Defense Minister Reports Strategic Plan Emphasizing the Protection and Expansion of Controlled Territories

During the seventh session (first day) of the Union Parliament convened under the leadership of the Committee Representing the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH), Defense Minister U Ye Mon of the NUG government presented an operational report. He stated that the Ministry of Defense is currently implementing eight strategic objectives, including:

  1. Under the Ministry’s leadership, continued development of the People's Defense Forces (PDF) and Pa Ka Pha to become a disciplined and combat-capable military force.
  2. Sustained efforts to disrupt the enemy’s military apparatus both physically and psychologically.
  3. Protection and maintenance of controlled territories, safeguarding civilians from SAC violence, and expanding areas of control.

The report also mentioned efforts to strengthen military and political alliances.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 2. One Civilian Killed and Another Injured in Ka Ni Township Following Attack by Two Paramotors

In Sagaing Region's Ka Ni Township, two paramotors deployed by SAC forces carried out an attack, resulting in one civilian death and one injury.

The incident occurred on February 7 at around 1 a.m. when SAC's North-Western Command deployed two paramotors to conduct the attack. According to local Revolutionary Joint Forces, some buildings were damaged during the assault.

A spokesperson from Ka Ni Township's People's Defense Force commented, "Instead of conventional aircraft, SAC has increasingly used paramotors across the country for their cost-efficiency in terms of time and fuel. Given Ka Ni's proximity to the regional military command, such incidents may occur frequently. Civilians should remain vigilant."

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 3. SAC Soldiers Burn Down 16 Civilian Homes Following Clashes in Oatpho Township

February 7

In the western region of Bago Division's Tharyarwaddy District, near the Bago Yoma Forest in Oatpho Township, SAC forces encountered resistance from the Revolutionary Joint Forces.

The clash took place on February 4 around 9 a.m. near Sin Myint Village. Revolutionary Joint Forces engaged about 40 SAC troops using heavy and light weapons, leading to a 30-minute battle. Six SAC soldiers were killed, and 15 were wounded.

The 3802 Battalion Division 5 reported that following the attack, the retreating SAC forces, reinforced by an additional 40 soldiers, burned down 16 civilian homes in Sin Myint Village and towed away two civilian vehicles while withdrawing.

Due to the SAC's use of forced porters and increasing military activities, local authorities have urged civilians to avoid movement near military-controlled areas and remain alert to potential clashes.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 4. Bombing in Naung Cho Injures Local Driver

February 7

A bombing incident in Naung Cho Township, Ta'ang Region under the jurisdiction of Military Region 2, injured a local truck driver.

According to PSLF/TNLA, the bombing occurred on February 6 at around 10:20 a.m. when SAC forces dropped a bomb near the hill of the Sapye Taung Pagoda.

The blast severely injured a 30-year-old driver named Sai Hla Oo, who was rushed to a local hospital by civilians for treatment.

It was noted that on January 22, without any preceding battles, SAC forces conducted an aerial strike in Naung Cho using jet fighters, dropping two bombs that killed three women and five men, wounded one person, and damaged two houses and a police station.

PSLF/TNLA emphasized the need for civilians to stay alert and follow air defense precautions to minimize risks, warning that SAC forces are increasingly targeting civilians with deliberate aerial bombings.
