๐ฉ๐ฉ 7. Activist Group Calls on Myanmar Hip-Hop Artists to Apologize for Supporting SAC Officer’s Son
The youth activist group "Ye Baw Way" has called on certain Myanmar hip-hop artists to apologize to the public for supporting a concert that featured Ye Htet Naung, the son of Ye Win Oo, the Chief of Military Security Affairs, in March.
"This is not about condemning artists for performing or enjoying themselves. It’s not about punishing them for not donating to or directly supporting the revolution. It’s about the fact that they willingly collaborated with and legitimized the son of a powerful, notorious military officer who is deeply involved with the oppressive regime. Before the Myanmar hip-hop scene completely loses its integrity, we demand that these artists, including revolutionary rapper Nitric Acid and other committed rap groups fighting for freedom at great personal cost, issue a public apology to the people," Ye Baw Way stated.
The group further explained that the Military Security Affairs unit (commonly referred to as "Sar Phat") is even more dangerous than police stations, battalions, and the notorious "Three-Letter Agencies" because it has been a long-standing intelligence organization that systematically infiltrates, arrests, and assassinates revolutionaries across generations.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 8. Ground Protesters in Yangon Wear "ILO A33 MYANMAR 2025" Shirts to Demand Action Against the Junta
On March 10, ground protest groups in Yangon staged a demonstration wearing shirts with the text "ILO A33 MYANMAR 2025" to call for action against the military junta’s repression of workers at the International Labour Organization (ILO) conference.
The protest was organized by Yangon Ground Protest Groups in collaboration with the Yangon Revolution Alliance (Group 4).
Since the military coup, the junta has been forcibly exploiting workers, restricting their right to form associations, and suppressing labor movements. Protesters are urging the ILO to take action under Article 33 against the junta for failing to comply with international labor standards protecting workers' fundamental rights.
These military updates were provided by Min Thihan, a correspondent for Radio NUG.
