๐๐ 2. Union Parliament Representative Committee Issues Message on the Fourth Anniversary of the NUG’s Formation
April 16
On the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the establishment of the National Unity Government (NUG), the Union Parliament Representative Committee (CRPH) has issued a formal message.
In the message, the CRPH expressed its appreciation and support for the NUG’s ongoing efforts, not only in collaborating with ethnic nationalities and all revolutionary forces to dismantle the oppressive military dictatorship and establish a federal democratic union aligned with the people's will, but also in its role as a revolutionary government actively engaging across various domestic and international sectors over the past four years.
The CRPH underscored its firm belief in the principle that sovereign power must be returned to the people and recognized the NUG’s contributions to that end through meaningful collaboration with the legislature. It noted that, up to the seventh parliamentary session, the NUG had maintained cooperation and engagement with the Parliament through necessary coordination mechanisms, submission of reports, and answering questions raised by parliamentary representatives.
It further emphasized that the strong partnership and mutual coordination between the government and the Parliament serve as an essential foundation for ending the military dictatorship and building a federal democratic union. The CRPH expressed full confidence that such cooperation would continue to guide the nation toward a new democratic state grounded in the people’s will.
The message also conveyed hopes that the NUG, in collaboration with relevant sectors, ethnic nationalities, revolutionary forces, and allied groups, would continue to strive toward establishing a stronger, more unified government during this transitional period, based on shared goals and collective strength for the benefit of the people and the federal democratic union.
