๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 2. Two Killed, Many Injured in Suicide Drone Attack on Hmawbi Air Force HQ in Yangon

June 10

A suicide drone attack targeting the Air Force Headquarters in Hmawbi, Yangon Region, resulted in the deaths of two personnel, including Major Moe Wai Kyaw, according to an official from the Civilian Military – SRDF (People’s Defense Force), as reported by the Yangon Khit Thit news outlet.

On the night of June 9, at around 7:00 p.m., a high-grade suicide drone capable of bypassing signal jammers was deployed as part of a military operation from Ohtaintin Village. The drone dropped a bomb on the Air Force HQ, causing a direct hit and explosion.

Major Moe Wai Kyaw and soldier Phyo Ko Ko were reportedly killed in the blast.

“It was a bomb-dropping strike using a jammer-bypassing suicide drone. The strike hit the Hmawbi Air Force outpost directly. Phyo Ko Ko from the air force side was confirmed dead, and so was Major Moe Wai Kyaw. It’s confirmed. Phyo Ko Ko was reportedly transferred from the 757 frontline battalion in Rakhine. In addition, six family members from the outpost were injured. We don’t yet know if they survived or not, but all casualties were from within the compound. The attack was carried out jointly by Civilian Military – SRDF and Battalion No. 15 of Shwebo District as part of a coordinated operation from Ohtaintin Village, with all members safely withdrawing without injury.

The revolutionary forces also stated that although junta-aligned propaganda outlets are spreading disinformation claiming civilian casualties, their detailed operational records confirm that no civilians were harmed during the strike.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 3. Public Warning Issued Regarding Unauthorized Use of “Bagan-Bilu” Name for Fundraising

June 10

A public warning has been issued in Nyaung-U Township regarding fundraising activities being conducted under the name of "Bagan-Bilu", urging local residents to exercise caution.

Over the past few days, individuals have been observed collecting donations in Nyaung-U Township under the pretense of representing Pa Ka Pha and falsely claiming affiliation with "Bagan-Bilu", including citing associations with groups like Ko Zee.

They are allegedly misusing the name of the Bagan-Bilu organization for unauthorized fundraising in rural areas.

To aid public identification, the organization stated that its official members carry flags bearing the Bilu emblem and wear uniforms with Bilu logos printed on the sleeves and shoulders.

Given these impersonation cases, the organization has issued this notification to alert the public to be aware of fraudulent fundraising activities being conducted under its name.
