๐ฉ๐ฉ 1. Moebye PDF Battalion Calls for Reinforcements Amid Intensifying Clashes
June 1
Due to ongoing and increasingly intense clashes between junta forces and revolutionary troops in Moebye, a strategic town located at the Shan–Karenni border, Moebye PDF Battalion No. 1001 has issued a public call for reinforcements and support to bolster the defense lines.
Since late April, the military council has launched renewed offensives—this time in coordination with PNO People's Militia forces—in an attempt to retake Moebye, which has been under the control of revolutionary forces for over a year. This has resulted in near-daily confrontations.
With fighting intensifying, junta forces have been shelling Moebye with heavy artillery on a daily basis, leading to the destruction of numerous civilian homes by fire, according to local sources.
The conflict, which reignited in November 2024, has now dragged on for over six months. Due to growing shortages of ammunition and military supplies, Moebye People’s Defense Force had earlier launched a campaign to mark its fourth anniversary by appealing for 50 million kyats in public support. However, the response has been limited, prompting a renewed call for assistance from those who are able to contribute.
Alongside Moebye PDF, other revolutionary forces including the Karenni Nationalities Defense Force (KNDF) have also appealed for donations of ammunition and essential combat supplies to sustain operations on the Moebye frontline.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Resistance Forces Attack Military Column of Around 100 Near Kin Village in Mingun Area
June 1
A military column of around 100 junta troops advancing near Kin Village in the Mingun region of Sagaing Township came under coordinated attack by joint resistance forces, according to footage released by the People Servant Force (PSF).
On May 25 around 6 a.m., approximately 100 junta soldiers from Kan Gyi Kone teamed up with forces stationed at the Mingun base and began an assault operation toward Kin Village. Resistance groups launched a defensive counterattack, but were forced to temporarily retreat due to insufficient ammunition.
Later that afternoon, resistance units reorganized and relaunched a coordinated assault involving the Sagaing District Battalion 1, Battalion 2, and Zone 4. The operation also included territorial clearance efforts, according to the official PSF statement.
The attack was a joint operation involving PSF, the Mingun Pa Ka Pha, Chanmyathazi Township Pa Ka Pha, Yadanabon LPDF, UNICORN force, ACID Group, Zone 4 Coalition, Sagaing Township Pa Ka Pha, Sagaing District Battalions 1 and 2, and other local revolutionary defense units.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Taungtha Pa Ka Pha Issues Final Warning for Junta Troops, Police, and Pyu Saw Htee to Surrender
June 1
The Taungtha Township People’s Defense Force (Pa Ka Pha), under Mandalay Region, has issued what it says is a final warning to junta-aligned soldiers, police officers, and Pyu Saw Htee militia members operating in the township to lay down their arms and surrender peacefully.
This statement follows a May 27 resistance operation in which two junta troops were killed and a police officer was captured along with his weapons and ammunition after an ambush on two junta supply trucks traveling from Taungtha to Wellong. One of the vehicles was also seized.
In its latest announcement issued on May 31, the Taungtha Pa Ka Pha extended its warning beyond just security personnel, urging civil servants working under the junta to join hands with the people before it is too late.
The statement reiterated that those who defect and cooperate with the resistance—along with their families—would be supported with food, shelter, healthcare, and education for their children. Moreover, they would be given safety guarantees extending into the post-revolutionary period.
It also stated that for those who wish to go abroad, secure arrangements would be made to ensure their safety and peace of mind.
"This may be the last opportunity of its kind," the statement concluded. “Whether to die for junta leaders or choose a future for your family is a decision you must make for yourself.”
These reports were submitted by Radio NUG field correspondent Ko Khant.
