The event is scheduled to take place on July 19 in front of the military junta’s embassy in Shinagawa.
In line with the phrase “Martyrs’ Day — We Will Never Forget,” the NUG Support Team Japan has issued a call urging all Myanmar nationals living abroad to participate in the event with a spirit of solemn remembrance and gratitude, despite their busy schedules and various obligations, to ensure that the occasion is commemorated meaningfully from wherever they are.
Attendees are encouraged to bring flowers or floral tributes of their choosing — such as individual flowers, bouquets, or garlands — and to wear black clothing as a symbol of mourning and solidarity, according to the organizers.

It was reported on July 15 that the People’s Defence Force (Pa Ka Pha) from Zone 4 of Myat Thar Yar Township has constructed security bunkers.

A protest marking the 37th anniversary of the 8888 Uprising will be held in the United Kingdom, according to reports.
The protest is scheduled for Friday, August 8, starting at 12:00 noon at Parliament Square. All Myanmar nationals and forces based in the UK are invited to attend and participate.
The organizing committee has called on the Burmese diaspora to demonstrate that the democratic revolution that began with the 8888 Uprising is far from over — that the final battle is ongoing — and urged everyone to keep the revolutionary spirit alive and active.

๐๐ 4. 4.3 Magnitude Earthquake Occurs Near Kyaing Tong, Shan State

On July 14, 2025, at around 9:49 PM Myanmar Standard Time, a mild earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 on the Richter scale struck 24 kilometers west-southwest of Kyaing Tong town, Shan State, with a focal depth of 10 kilometers underground.
This information was released by the Ministry of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Management under the National Unity Government (NUG).
The public has been advised to remain vigilant and to follow appropriate precautionary measures for safety and risk reduction in response to the earthquake.
