๐ฉ๐ฉ 1. Over 300 Clashes in 6 Months in KNLA-Khalel Lwee Htoo District, More than 200 Junta Forces Killed

The Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA), in its Khalel Lwee Htoo District under Command Region 3, reported that from January 1 to June 30, 2025, a total of 300 clashes, both major and minor, occurred within its administrative territory.
According to the July 15 statement, 44 resistance fighters from the KNLA side sacrificed their lives for their people and nation, and 127 others were seriously injured.
On the junta side, 242 troops were killed, 189 were wounded, and 7 surrendered. In addition, the KNLA captured 25 junta personnel alive and seized a total of 209 assorted weapons.
The report also documented human rights violations by the junta during the same six-month period, which resulted in the deaths of 49 civilians — 29 women and 20 men — as well as serious injuries to 181 civilians — 93 men and 88 women. Furthermore, 14 male and 3 female civilians were arrested and detained by junta forces.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. TNLA Reports 11 Junta Airstrikes and 9 Civilian Deaths Between June 29 and July 14

The Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) reported that the junta carried out a total of 11 airstrikes between June 29 and the morning of July 14, killing 9 civilians.
According to the TNLA, the military council conducted 6 airstrikes in Kyaukme, 1 strike in Thonese Village, Nawnghkio Township, 2 strikes in Mogok, and 2 strikes in Hsipaw, totaling 11 attacks.
These aerial bombings resulted in the deaths of 9 civilians, including children. Additionally, 4 children and 43 civilians were injured, while 63 houses, 1 school, and 4 Buddhist monasteries were damaged or destroyed by the blasts.
PSLF/TNLA warned the public to remain vigilant, emphasizing the need for consistent awareness of military threats and adherence to airstrike protection measures to minimize casualties.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Three Junta Soldiers from Monywa-Based Infantry Surrender and Join Local Resistance Forces

Three junta soldiers from the Monywa-based infantry unit in Sagaing Region defected and surrendered to the Monywa Township People’s Defence Team and Pa Ka Pha Combat Unit from Zone 2.
The defection occurred on July 13, and was confirmed by the local Pa Ka Pha, which reported that the three soldiers surrendered without weapons.
They are currently being held in good conditions, and since they are not implicated in any war crimes, the resistance groups are working to assist them according to their wishes and to reintegrate them appropriately.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. AAPP: Total Death Toll from Spring Revolution Reaches 6,962 Due to the Violent Military Junta and Its Affiliates

According to the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP), the total number of pro-democracy activists and civilians killed since the start of the Spring Revolution has reached 6,962, due to the violent military junta and its affiliate groups.
This number reflects fatalities occurring between February 1, 2021 — the day the junta unlawfully seized power — and July 14, 2025.
Additionally, the AAPP reported that a total of 29,380 individuals have been arrested in connection with the coup. Of those, 22,179 remain in detention, with 10,881 having been sentenced to prison terms.
AAPP emphasized that these figures are based on the verifiable cases it was able to document. The actual numbers on the ground may be significantly higher.
