Radio NUG

“Only if the military junta is removed by any means—whether through political or military means—can the future Union of Myanmar that is just and peaceful truly emerge,” said Acting President Duwa Lashi La during the National Unity Government’s Cabinet Meeting 19/2025 held on July 31.

He stated,

“Whether by political means or by military means, only by removing the military junta can we realize the just and peaceful future Union of Myanmar that we all aspire to. That is not only our collective desire but also the will of the people. Because this is the ultimate path we must walk, certain reforms will be necessary in some areas. As we undertake these reforms, we must all remain steadfast as true revolutionaries—those who selflessly dedicate themselves to building the future of our fellow citizens—and carry on with great conviction in our hearts.

Up to now, I believe the ministers have carried out their duties commendably, but we must continue striving for even better outcomes.”

The meeting was attended by Acting President Duwa Lashi La, Prime Minister Mann Win Khaing Than, Union Ministers, and Deputy Ministers.

Likewise, Prime Minister Mann Win Khaing Than remarked:

“Some ministers have now been able to travel to regions such as Sagaing and Magway, which allows them to gain a better understanding of the ground realities. I believe this will enable us to manage the revolution more effectively and with greater impact.

However, when we speak of ground realities, this does not refer solely to Sagaing and Magway. We must also focus more on the territories under our control, and we must not overlook other crucial regions such as Bago, Tanintharyi, and Ayeyarwady.”
