๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 1. Mid-Year Meeting Successfully Held in Mongko District, Special Region 1

According to a statement released by the Kokang armed forces (MNDAA), the 2025 First Half-Year Meeting of Mongko District, located in Special Region 1 of northern Shan State, was successfully convened.

The meeting was held on 25 July, with the participation of members from the Central Committee (Reserve Members) of the Myanmar National Truth and Justice Party (MNTJP), along with the District Administrative Committee Secretary, District Administrator, Deputy Administrator, officials from various district-level departments, the district police force, the district military force, as well as representatives and officials from village and township administrations.

During the meeting, the Deputy District Administrator presented the summary report of administrative and operational activities for the first six months of 2025 on behalf of the District Administrative Committee.

According to the report, discussions centered on the achievements in various sectors such as enhancements in district governance, security operations, drug eradication efforts, education, and transportation, as well as other public benefit initiatives. Areas requiring improvement were also identified and discussed.

It was further reported that the meeting emphasized the district’s continued commitment to the strategic policy of prioritizing stability first, followed by development, as laid down by the MNTJP Central Committee. Participants agreed to focus on strengthening governance, promoting post-conflict reconstruction, and addressing the livelihood challenges of the population based on a foundation of stability.

Additionally, it was discussed that the district will strive for greater community engagement in overcoming hardships and accelerating post-conflict reconstruction efforts. The aim is to build a peaceful and livable environment for the local populace.

For the upcoming second half of the year, key areas of focus will include enhancing rural healthcare services, strengthening basic party structures, improving administrative systems, clarifying departmental responsibilities, and delivering more effective services to the public. There will also be an emphasis on maintaining peace and stability in border areas.

Separately, it was noted that the District Administrative Committee of Theinni District in Special Region 1 also convened its own First Half-Year Meeting on 24 July, led by the MNTJP/MNDAA.

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 2. Graduation Ceremony Held for Weekly Training Batch 2 in Theinni District, Special Region 1

The Kokang armed forces (MNDAA) announced today, 27 July, that the Graduation Ceremony for the Weekly Training Batch 2, conducted by the District Military Unit in Theinni District, Special Region 1, was held on 25 July.

The training, which lasted two months, has now been completed, and the training group has successfully fulfilled all its assigned objectives.

The ceremony was held to review lessons learned and evaluate results, as well as to recognize outstanding participants and exemplary practices.

The event was attended by Central Committee (Reserve Members) of the MNTJP, Secretary of the Theinni District Administrative Committee, Head of the District Weapons Department, First and Second Deputy Commanders of the District Military Unit, senior officials from relevant district offices, local administrative officials from villages and townships, and graduating trainees.

During the ceremony, the lead instructor reviewed the scope of the training, which covered a wide range of areas including political education, military drills, document handling, and administrative management. The review also included guidance on areas needing improvement based on the outcomes of party-building efforts.

At the event, leaders from the relevant departments—including the Head of the District Finance Department—awarded certificates of recognition to the best-performing trainees and group leaders.
