The junta dropped two 500-pound bombs on the village around 8:30 p.m. on August 24, despite the absence of any ongoing clashes in the area.
A single fighter jet from Naypyitaw Air Base carried out the attack, dropping two 500-pound bombs that killed civilians and destroyed homes, confirmed the Natmauk Township People’s Defense Force (PDF) representative.
The victims have been identified as:

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Civilian killed in Yesagyo after junta soldiers open fire at motorcyclist without helmet
August 27
The Yesagyo Information Committee reported that in Yesagyo Town, Magway Region, a man was shot dead while drying clothes in his yard after junta soldiers opened fire at a motorcyclist who was not wearing a helmet.
On August 26, around 2:00 p.m., soldiers patrolling near Tiloka Monastery in Ward No. 7 of Yesagyo pursued a motorcyclist without a helmet and fired multiple gunshots.
Although the motorcyclist managed to escape, Ko Zaw Win (age 39), who was drying clothes in the yard of a house west of the monastery, was struck by the gunfire and killed.
The Yesagyo Information Committee noted that such reckless and indiscriminate shootings by junta troops have previously resulted in the deaths of innocent civilians.
For example, on August 24, the junta indiscriminately fired three heavy artillery rounds from positions inside Yesagyo Town, which landed across the river in Aung Chan Thar Village, Myaung Township, Sagaing Region, causing civilian casualties.

August 27
Strategy 33 under the People’s Defense Force (PDF) in Operation Region No. 1 and the Mon State Revolutionary Force (MSRF) have officially formed a Brotherhood Alliance, according to a joint statement released today.
Both groups had already been cooperating as allies since the Operation Sak-Ka-Kha-19 Drone Campaign, launched on July 14, 2023, and had jointly engaged in battles since then.
During their cooperation spanning over two years, they carried out around 40 military operations and captured at least six enemy military outposts, the MSRF reported.
They stated that through this period of collaboration, their comradeship, sacrifices, and mutual trust have strengthened, leading to the formation of a Brotherhood Alliance between Strategy 33 and MSRF.
Under this alliance, MSRF affirmed that they will continue revolutionary operations with shared objectives and will protect each other, even at the cost of their lives, regardless of future challenges.
Furthermore, they declared that the Brotherhood Alliance is committed not only to fighting the current military dictatorship but also to opposing any form of dictatorship until a genuine federal democratic union is established.
