The Ministry of Human Rights announced that it would take action to ensure accountability for the airstrike launched by the terrorist military regime on Singut Village, Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region.
On January 26, 2025, at approximately 7:50 a.m., a fighter jet dropped two 500-pound bombs on the western part of Singut Village, which is located along the Simi-Khonka Road. The attack targeted a school, civilian residences, and pedestrians. Additionally, a Mi-35 helicopter gunship strafed the area for about 30 minutes.
The airstrike resulted in a tragic family casualty, including the deaths of a four-year-old and a five-month-old child. In total, 18 people were killed, including eight local PDF members, three Myingyan Township PDF members, and one police officer.
The Ministry emphasized its strong commitment to pursuing justice, equality, and peace for the people and vowed to hold the terrorist military regime accountable for its crimes.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Outbreak of Diarrheal Disease at Mandalay Prison Due to Unsanitary Food and Water

Due to unhygienic food and water at Mandalay Prison, the number of inmates suffering from diarrheal disease has been increasing since the second week of this month. Currently, approximately 70 prisoners are affected, as confirmed by the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP) on January 27.
Across prisons nationwide, inmates are reportedly being denied adequate food and essential medicines, facing severe mistreatment under the junta's oppressive rule. In Mandalay Prison specifically, there is insufficient healthcare support, and authorities are restricting medicines sent by family members.
Following the coup, a total of 28,370 individuals have been arrested, of whom 21,651 remain detained. Among the detainees, 10,131 have already been sentenced to imprisonment.

Protesters in South Korea demanded that the International Criminal Court (ICC) issue an arrest warrant for Myanmar's military leader, Min Aung Hlaing.
Starting at noon on January 28, Myanmar expatriates in South Korea staged a demonstration, calling for Min Aung Hlaing’s arrest. Protesters alleged that he was responsible for severe human rights violations, killings, and crimes following the coup in Myanmar.
The demonstration included performances such as revolutionary songs, poetry recitations, and theatrical plays.
