๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 1. CDM Success Committee Holds Commemoration Event Honoring Four Years of Heroic Civil Servants in CDM

The CDM Success Committee successfully organized a commemoration event on February 8 to honor the heroic government employees who played leading roles in the non-violent civil disobedience movement. Attendees included the Interim President and Prime Minister of the National Unity Government (NUG), the Chairperson of the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH), representatives of the National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC), and leaders of ethnic groups.

In his keynote address, Interim President Duwa Lashi La said:
"Our National Unity Government has its strengths as well as weaknesses. However, thanks to the support of the people, we have managed to turn some weaknesses into strengths. I understand that the public might feel dissatisfied with or critical of our government, which is natural. We welcome constructive criticism from the people and boldly make necessary reforms wherever needed."

He further highlighted that leadership reform and structural realignment were part of the ongoing transformations.

During the event, distinguished individuals extended messages of encouragement and moral support to the CDM heroes. The commemoration ceremony concluded successfully under the leadership of the CDM Success Committee.

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 2. Prime Minister Mahn Win Khaing Than Urges CDM Civil Servants to Prepare for the Nation's Future Reconstruction

During the February 8 ceremony led by the CDM Success Committee to honor heroic CDM civil servants, Prime Minister Mahn Win Khaing Than made an impassioned speech, urging them to remain engaged in the revolution and prepare for future state-building efforts.

He said:
"CDM civil servants are key pillars of the people's Spring Revolution, making countless sacrifices. They are principled government employees who should continue contributing to the revolution within their respective sectors while also preparing for the reconstruction of the nation's future."

Currently, CDM civil servants are being invited to participate in healthcare and reconstruction efforts in territories controlled by revolutionary forces.

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 3. Nonviolent Resistance Movement Civil Servants Law Draft Expected to Be Enacted Soon

Speaking at the February 8 commemoration event organized by the CDM Success Committee, U Aung Kyi Nyunt, Chairperson of the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH), said:

"The role of CDM civil servants is crucial for political reform. As such, we have established policies supporting CDM civil servants and are working toward enacting robust laws. The draft Nonviolent Resistance Movement Civil Servants Law is currently being coordinated with the CRPH’s Legislative Committee and relevant authorities, and it is expected to be promulgated soon."

Additionally, the CRPH's Public Affairs Committee has been providing emergency support and conducting morale-boosting training sessions for CDM civil servants.

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 4. Call to Participate in the Campaign to Seize Remaining Military Bases in the Saw Township Area

Efforts have begun to raise funds for the Saw Township Campaign, which aims to seize the remaining military bases in the region. Nan Kyi Aye Shwe, Chairperson of the Saw Campaign Committee, urged all ethnic groups to provide united support for the campaign's success.

At the campaign launch event held on the morning of February 8, attendees included Colonel Saw Dae Pho, Chairman of KNU’s Taungoo District, Commander Saw Kor of Cobra Column 1, and ethnic representatives both inside and outside the country.

Chairperson Nan Kyi Aye Shwe explained the campaign's three main objectives:

Clearing all remaining military bases in the Saw Township area.

Establishing protective measures to safeguard local civilians from threats posed by military oppression.

Supporting the ultimate downfall of the dictatorship and the emergence of a true federal democracy.

He urged everyone to support the campaign as they had done in previous operations.

The campaign aims to raise 3 million Thai baht, with the fundraising period spanning from February 3 to March 31. The committee has called for the participation of all ethnic groups, including Karen communities, to ensure the campaign's success.
