๐ฉ๐ฉ 1. Military Council Troops Kill Villagers and a Monk Amid Raids on Villages in the Border Area of Yesagyo and Myaung Townships

The Military Council troops, currently conducting offensives in villages along the border between Yesagyo Township in Magway Region and Myaung Township in Sagaing Region, have killed several villagers and a Buddhist monk, according to Ko Nway Oo, a representative from the Myaung Township People's Defense and Security Organization (CDSOM).
The offensive began on March 4, with junta troops advancing into Myay Sun Village, located near the Yesagyo-Myaung border. Over the past three days, they have continuously set fire to surrounding villages, causing widespread destruction.
On March 4, the junta troops shot and killed an elderly monk, estimated to be around 80 years old, who attempted to resist their invasion of Myay Sun Village.
As a result of the military’s offensive, civilian casualties have been reported in Myay Sun Village, but the exact number remains unknown.
On the morning of March 5, the junta troops continued their arson attacks, setting fire to villages such as Myay Sun Taw, Shwe Hlan, Zarap Ni, and Thakhon Lay, according to the Yesagyo Township Information Committee.
Additionally, at around 8:00 AM on March 5, the junta carried out an airstrike using a jet fighter on Shwe Hlan Village in Yesagyo Township.
Due to the military offensive, civilians from Ngar Yan O and Min Hla villages in Myaung Township and Thakhon Gyi, Zarap Ni, and Thakhon Lay villages in Yesagyo Township have been forced to flee, according to CDSOM.
Since February 26, over 15,000 civilians from multiple villages, including Myay Sun, Sin Chay Yar, Malaka Htan, Shwe Hlan, and Ywar Thit in Yesagyo Township, as well as Na Nwin Kaing, Su Lay Kone, Myit Thar, Sin Hlaung, Thukhadeepa, and Myit Sone in Myaung Township, have been displaced due to junta offensives.
The Revolutionary Joint Forces have engaged the advancing junta troops in battle. In a February 26 clash, they managed to kill five junta soldiers, capture six alive, and seize four weapons. During another clash on March 5, four junta soldiers were killed.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Two Junta Soldiers Captured with Weapons and Ammunition Near Ngwe Pyaung Taing Village in Kanbalu Township

Two junta soldiers were captured alive along with their weapons and ammunition near Ngwe Pyaung Taing Village in Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Region, according to a statement released on March 6 by Kanbalu District Battalion 4.
The capture occurred on March 5 near Ngwe Pyaung Taing Village, which is located along the Shwebo-Myitkyina strategic road. The operation was carried out by the Kanbalu District Battalion 4, in collaboration with the Pa Ka Pha, Pa Ah Pha, Pa La Pha, and PDF units under the Kanbalu District Joint Forces, during a clearance operation.
The captured soldiers were not defectors but were apprehended during the military clearance operation. Investigations are ongoing to gather more information, according to an officer from Kanbalu District Battalion 4.
On February 20, the junta attempted to assert control over the Shwebo-Myitkyina Road by mobilizing around 300 troops from Zi Kone Sugar Mill onto the highway. However, resistance forces engaged the junta convoy, inflicting heavy casualties.
Similarly, on March 3, resistance forces attacked a junta convoy carrying soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee militia members in two vehicles. Several junta troops were killed, and one captured vehicle was set on fire by the resistance forces.
The junta, weakened by resistance attacks, has been retaliating by abducting and killing civilians and torching homes in the region, forcing locals to flee their villages.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Junta Airstrikes in KNU-Controlled Ledo and Muu Townships Injure Two Civilians and Destroy a House

Two civilians were injured, and a house was destroyed after the junta carried out airstrikes on Ledo and Muu Townships in Kawthoolei, a region controlled by the Karen National Union (KNU), according to a statement released by the KNU Central Command on March 6.
The junta conducted both air and drone strikes on villages within Ledo and Muu Townships, Kler Lwee Htoo District, causing civilian injuries and damage to properties.
On March 1, the junta dropped three 120mm bombs from drones on Inn Nak Village in Ledo Township, injuring a 70-year-old man and a 7-year-old child. A house was also destroyed, and three cows were killed.
Similarly, on March 3, at around 8:30 PM, a fighter jet from the junta’s Taungoo Air Base dropped two 500-pound bombs on Nga Htwe Zup Village, destroying a motorbike, two gallons of gasoline, three gallons of diesel, twenty bags of salt, and a hand tiller.
On March 4 and 5, junta warplanes also conducted back-to-back airstrikes on civilian villages in Kawthoolei’s Dooplaya District, Kawkareik Township, destroying a school and three houses and injuring four civilians.
The KNU Central Command has accused the junta of deliberately targeting civilian structures, including religious buildings, public hospitals, clinics, and schools, as part of its military strategy.
In recent days, the junta has intensified airstrikes not only in KNU-controlled territories but also in Kachin, northern Shan, Magway, Bago, Rakhine, Chin, and Karenni regions, targeting civilian-populated areas across the country.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. Attack on Kha Ma Ya 435 Battalion Gate in North Okkalapa with Two Hand Grenades

The Yangon Urban Guerrilla Forces reported that the Kha Ma Ya 435 Battalion gate, located at the junction of North Okkalapa and South Okkalapa townships in Yangon, was attacked with two hand grenades.
According to the Revolutionary Forces, at approximately 8:10 PM on March 4, the gate of the Kha Ma Ya 435 Battalion, which belongs to the terrorist military, was targeted in a close-range assault using two hand grenades.
The extent of casualties or injuries among the military junta forces remains unconfirmed at this time. However, the revolutionary fighters involved in the attack have reported that they sustained no injuries.
The attack was carried out by the revolutionary forces from Freeland Attack Force-FLA and Yangon Army-YA, who coordinated their assault against the military junta’s battalion gate.
Yangon-based revolutionary groups have reiterated their commitment to resisting the terrorist military junta’s control over the city. They stated that they will continue to fight with full force to prevent the junta from exerting dominance over urban Yangon. Additionally, they emphasized that resistance forces remain embedded within the city, operating covertly alongside the general public.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 5. Attack on a Military Convoy Departing from Nganzun Town – Two Soldiers Killed, Three Injured

According to the TGYR-Youth Guerrilla Counter Revolution-NZ force, an attack was carried out on a military convoy consisting of two vehicles departing from Nganzun Town in Mandalay Region, resulting in two junta soldiers killed and three others wounded.
Reports indicate that the convoy, which included approximately 80 personnel comprising junta soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee militia members, had traveled from Nganzun and was stationed at Kyaung Gyi Kone Pagoda. Upon receiving this intelligence, TGYR forces, in coordination with the TGYR-Drone Team and allied units, launched an assault at around 11:00 AM on March 1.
The attack involved drone-dropped bombs and ground-based shelling using 40mm grenade launchers, leading to direct combat with the military convoy.
During the battle, two junta personnel were killed, and three others sustained injuries, requiring emergency medical treatment. Additionally, one military vehicle was damaged in the attack.
The assault was a joint operation involving TGYR-Youth Guerrilla Counter Revolution-NZ (TGYR-Drone Team), Aung Mann Thit Guerrilla Force, Nganzun Township Pa Ka Pha, Mandalay District Battalion No. 5, and Fight For Freedom – FFF.NK.
Given the frequent aerial strikes targeting civilians in Nganzun Township by the junta forces, the TGYR unit has urged residents to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions.
