Myanmar communities in Tulsa, U.S., are set to meet with Union Minister Dr. Sasa. The event is scheduled for March 8 and will include a fundraising market.
"The upcoming Saturday, March 8, will be a special day when Dr. Sasa personally meets with the public. Everyone is invited to join and support the humanitarian fundraising food fair. The Tulsa Spring Chefs are also ready, so we warmly welcome all to attend and show support," announced the Myanmar Community of Tulsa.

๐๐ 2. Deputy Minister Khun Swae Poo Calls for Support in Securing Water for 300 Acres of Farmland in Momeik

Deputy Minister Khun Swae Poo issued a call for support via social media on March 6 to help Momeik farmers secure water for approximately 300 acres of farmland.
"I had discussions with summer paddy farmers. They are working hard to secure water for their fields. As a group, we are striving to provide a 15-horsepower diesel pump to help supply water for about 300 acres of farmland in Momeik. We also invite anyone willing to contribute to join us," he stated.
He emphasized that ensuring food security for the public is crucial for the revolution.

๐๐ 3. Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun Urges to Cut Off Arms, Ammunition, and Jet Fuel Supplies to the Military Junta to Support the People of Myanmar

During the Third Meeting of States Parties to the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, Myanmar’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun, made an appeal, stating:
"In order to restore peace and stability in the country, the people of Myanmar have firmly committed to ending military dictatorship and establishing a federal democratic union. To achieve this, we urge the international community to address the root causes of the crisis and to support the people of Myanmar. Cutting off the flow of arms, ammunition, and jet fuel to the terrorist military is a way to assist the people of Myanmar," he stated.
Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun further remarked that the military coup and the junta’s continued brutal atrocities have undermined the foundations of peace in Myanmar, inflicted severe hardships on its citizens, and destabilized regional peace and security.

๐๐ 4. SMFC Submits a Joint Petition to Thai and Malaysian Embassies in the UK Regarding Myanmar Issues

The SMFC (Support Myanmar Freedom Coalition) has submitted a joint petition regarding Myanmar’s situation to officials at the Thai and Malaysian embassies in the United Kingdom.
Following the protest on March 5, responsible officials at both embassies personally received the letter submitted by SMFC. The organization expressed deep appreciation for the embassies' humanitarian approach in handling the matter. Additionally, it extended its gratitude to all protest participants and the 21 organizations that signed and supported the petition.
SMFC also reaffirmed its commitment to making every effort to prevent undocumented Myanmar migrant workers in Thailand and Malaysia from being deported.

Myanmar communities in South Korea are set to hold a protest walk demanding the swift collapse of military dictatorship and the establishment of a federal democracy.
The protest will highlight the oppression and persecution of innocent civilians as well as ongoing human rights violations, calling for their immediate end. The Myanmar diaspora remains unwavering in their resistance against the dictatorship and will continue to raise their voices.
The protest walk is scheduled to take place on March 16 at Exit 1 of Chungnang Station.

๐๐ 6. Death Toll of Pro-Democracy Activists and Civilians Killed by the Military Junta and Its Allies Rises to 6,380

The Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP) has reported that the total number of pro-democracy activists and civilians killed by the military junta and its affiliates during the Spring Revolution has now reached 6,380.
From the beginning of the military coup on February 1, 2021, until March 5, 2025, a total of 6,380 people have lost their lives due to the military junta’s violent crackdowns.
Additionally, the report states that a total of 28,741 people have been arrested in connection with the coup. Among them, 21,967 individuals remain in detention, while 10,510 have been sentenced to imprisonment.
